shikamaru doesn't have the chakra to really keep up, he wins off of his strategy and brains. (i Love shika btw)

Chouji yes-ish, he just overwhelms with size and strength. The butterfly thing gives him a one up also.

but out of those 2 neither can see Sakura or compare IMO.

Lee yes,

but i still don't think out of those 4 any are seeing Kakashi hand to hand technique to technique skill to skill whatever you want to say. Sakura I feel is the only one who may be able to use her slugs and strength to trap him.

Other than that I think Kakashi is only really under the 3rd hokage at this point...(we all may remember how much I love that dude)

Keep in mind I didn't say they could compete with Kakashi at the end of the series, but during Part 1 and at the start of Part 2. Kakashi at those times was most certainly not competing with the 3rd, and in Part 1 couldn't even stand against Orochimaru without shaking and nearly loosing it.

Kakashi in Part 1 and at the start of Part 2 also had chakra issues. It wasn't until the war that he'd finally gotten over those. So he's not that much different than Shikamaru, but yes the latter does rely on utilizing his techniques in a strategical way. That's why I said if we're judging them on all of their skills as a whole that i'd still place him up there. Shika's the one person who has been referenced with Kakashi in terms of intelligence after all.

Like you said, what strength Shikamaru lacks Chouji then more than makes up for. Physically, Sakura and Naruto are probably the only Rookies stronger than him. I'd also clock him as being faster than Sakura as well. Without Kamui or the Susano-o he gains when fighting Kaguya, Kakashi wouldn't be able to hold off the Mazo like Chouji did.

Lee I absolutely think could take Kakashi on in Taijutsu, as that's his speciality. I'd also bet that he's faster than Kakashi as well once he starts using the Gates. Let's keep in mind that even before using the Gates, when he removes his weights, he's fast enough to physically disappear and unlike a lot of other characters his speed is actually a part of his fighting style. In The Last, he was one of the few people seen destroying a meteor on his own.

Then I don't really think Sakura needs any explanation. Combine her monster strength with her ability to heal from any wound and besides Kamui the chances of Kakashi back then beating her are fairly low in my opinion. Really one punch could end the fight.

Pretty solid chapters for Bleach and Naruto Gaiden.

Just finished the Fish Island volume on One Piece anime. Fantastic volume.

Idk..... that's even iffy.. Neji and Lee currently possibly. (but would be a tough fight...) the rest still get washed by pre 2 sharigan kakashi....

Plot Twist-None of them have abilities he can copy.

There's a massive difference in basic ability between Kakashi in Part 1 and Part 2. Not only did he gain the Mangekyou Sharingan, but his overall chakra pool expanded. Part 1 Kakashi fought Zabuza and was left out of commision for days, whereas in Part 2 that only happened when he used the Mangekyou, which noticeably put greater strain on him than anything he did in Part 1. Kakashi in Part 1 couldn't do **** against Itachi, whereas in Part 2 he took him on with little problem, managing to plan around and counter Itachi's superior genjutsu. And by the time of the War Kakashi, who couldn't properly use Kamui 3 times without collapsing, used it over 5 times in the same day with no issue, overall fighting far longer than he ever did previously. Come on now, don't act as if the Mangekyou and 2 Sharingan is the only way he improved over the course of the story. Hell, Zabuza was actually a challenge for him in Part 1 and got completely stomped by him during the War.

Chouji fought the Demonic Statue of the Outer Path and actually survived blows from it, when beforehand it was killing everyone left and right. Chouji actually DID beat Kakuzu, and his speed was allowing him to move faster than most other people present. ****, Chouji can grow larger enough to get hit with Raikiri and not feel a thing.

Sakura again has super strength that let's her kill Kakashi in one blow and healing that allows her to recover from any injury.

Lee move's faster than the eye can see, without the Gates, and has the strength to break solid rock as well, both of which Kakashi can't do.

Kakashi fights Neji then he has to spend the battle avoiding Taijutsu entirely, and he doesn't have solid long range attacks to end the fight. Best bet is Chidori, which Neji can see coming with Byakugan.

Shikamaru is the only one here whose physical skills aren't equal to Kakashi in any way, as his fight's always rely on the strategies he comes up with.

Kakuzu is Part 2 Kakashi so that's irrelevant. Part 1 Kakashi had trouble with Zabuza and was completely ineffectual against Itachi.

These people will do just fine and I think you're honestly kidding yourself if you think they haven't equaled Kakashi as he was at the start of the story, especially when they've again fought people at the same level who Kakashi at that time was completely washed against. Part 1 Kakashi literally has 2 fights to his name: Struggling against Zabuza and getting stomped by Itachi, neither of which are the best showings in the world.
