even if Kakashi and tsunade died, i still dont see naruto stepping in to that hokage role right away. but then again thats been the mission of this whole manga

I dont see why Naruto can't be the hokage if Kakashi goes, Garra is doing a good job
but also gaara is a different personality. Hokage has to be appointed by the fire nation leader and a vote among the jounin. I think that naruto would respect kakashi enough to not oppose him, until he retires. But right now its just kishis choice. naruto is the strongest sure, but leader of the whole village? at 16? nah not yet
now if kakashi dies, Naruto would have to have good advisors with him

It was just the Kazekage and Hokage only in the anime at least. Dont remember if it was different in the manga.

Sakura isn't important? She's the 5th Hokage's understudy dude. Naruto and Sasuke's team mate, and original member of team 7.
Just because you aren't a fan of her, that doesn't mean she hasn't been an important part of the war.
Rin's whole persona and purpose has been to be a filler role in Kakashi and Obito's storyline.
Sakura is actually her own character. Rin is nothing more than a flashback for the main storyline. She has no real existence outside of Obito's story with Madara. She was a pawn.
Killing off Sakura would have done nothing but made Naruto hate Sasuke, thus ending in Naruto going out trying to kill sasuke rather than bringing him back.
And that isn't Naruto's personality. Naruto is a loving person who wants to protect his friends and become hokage.
NAruto will more than likely end up being Hokage.
Why wouldn't you make the person who saved not only the Ninja world, but the entire world, the leader of your country? Then adding to that, he was the 4th's son? And taught by the Legendary Jiraiya?
Plus, the Series is coming to an end and its named after him in the first place?

We went over who we thought were 1-5, even a bit of the 5-10. (just a little)
but who is on the top of that 11-20 or better yet, just under ther top 10..
I just watched the Kisame death ep. I'm thinking he would be on the top of of the 10-20 debate.
if not #9 or 10. with the Chakra he was said to have.

I think for the second tier people, you would start putting most of the kages, stronger members of akatsuki and jinchiruukis. Like rai, bee, oonoki, Jiraiya, deidara (garuda isnt a joke) etc.
as for kisame, he has alot of chakra but he couldnt even beat gai. and I think Gai would get handled by alot of other people so yea

this. One thing that puzzles me is how Jiraiya is ranked. Do you guys put him above Itachi and Kisame? i'm not sure but didn't Itachi say they couldn't take him?

Well i don't know about yall but Jiraiya was always on my top 5-10 list.
and Gai opening up those gates is border line kage level or a tad under. don't sleep on that. Its practically the kaoken but each gate stronger than the next.
Now that doesnt mean i would rank Gai high because of that since its so temporary and damaging to him.
and Itachi did say that before,
I'm still in the belief that really high ranking ninjas aren't as scared as the sharigan. I mean even oorouchi cut his own arm off to break itachis genjutsu

Itachi had no desire to kill jiraiya and take naruto. His only desire was to see Sasuke and put the fear of god into Danzo with his mere presence. He was a good guy. Kisame didnt have any knowledge of jiraiya's techs so he took itachis word for it. As far as we know jiraiya has no way of escaping tsukyomi or even touching itachis sussano. Also Kisame and his sword can keep shaving away at jiraiya, and hes not going go into sage mode with those 2 there
but also Oro could afford to do that because, well its him. Jiraiya losing an arm would hinder him much more

-Sasuke ( just because we know hes going to get a powerup. he already has ems)

Then you have oonoki,Raikage, a bunch of the edo kages, and jiraiya fits in that area. But I dont see him beating any of those people above.

in all honesty w/ that dragon sage mode why wouldn't he be more up there... 6-10 spots? it did take 2 uchihas with their susanos.
Though he had a better environmental advantage.

Oh I know. Id say hes around that 7-10 spot. if u go 4 hokages, madara, itachi then naruto. hes around after them. I def think hes stronger than nagato unless he starts doing meteor drops
and it wasnt as much that Itachi couldnt kill him, he had to release edo tensei. I mean, he couldnt take on 2 of the strongest shinobi and 1 of them is immortal
