i think sage mode jiraiya like all the jinchuurikis is immune to genjutsu because of his toads. and he did say if he knew about there being 6 paths he would have beaten Pain... and he was kage level and trained minato and naruto and even nagato sorta. take that for what you will.

Just to add one, the 3rd actually chose Jiraiya as the 4th hokage but he didn't want it. He gave it to Minato.
but he has to actually get to sage mode first. he isnt as fast as naruto.
and as for the pain comment, I took that to mean, if he knew that Nagato was actually controlling them from somewhere else, he probably wouldnt have bothered to fight them in the first place. I mean, god realm packed a major punch by himself with shinra tensei and the gravity ball

Maybe not with Madara (imo), but there is a slight possibility that he worked with Orbito while he was in akatsuki. As for the DNA, he could have gotten it from madara/orbito if/when they teamed up, or he could have stolen it from the first's grave, wherever it may be.

that was still after destroying 5 of the bodies
and pretty much only using rasengan and strength,
Kabutomaru has strength, speed, and a lot more techniques.
Pains main advantage were the eyes and how they could all check on eachother. Kabutomaru uses that technique to blind them while he can see, what they going to do?

I'm back to trying to find new animes to watch. I marathoned through Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya, Disappearance of Haruhi Suzumiya (Which is a FANTASTIC movie btw), Clannad, and Clannad: After Story.
I'm starting Sword Art Online now and am wondering if there are any new animes I should be checking out. Any suggestions are welcome. You guys suggested Steins;Gate and Madoka Magica to me and they were amazing so I trust your judgements.

On Netflix.
If you can get past the unnecessary fan service that feels like it happens every 3 minutes, it's actually not too bad. Just a nice little zombie anime. It never got a second season though so you'll probably feel unfulfilled at the end.
