Nike Air Flight 89: now on NIKEiD

NDC just reduced the price on the black/red and white/red pairs. See clearance ssection...
 
I've yet to see these at the Nike outlets I was just in Cabazon n they didn't have any I will be hitting up Ontario tomorrow see if they have any in stock.
 
I got these back in '08 at a Dr. J's on 34th st.  They are in beater status now.

Originally came with grey laces, but I immediately swapped them out since there were already purple accents throughout.

The best part was the price $$$$$

Does anyone know what the 'A' stands for?
 
Been wearing my Soars regularly all summer, and they still look NDS :pimp: No paint cracking, nothing.

Toebox creases hard, but it's not as bad as you'd think.

Whoah, I had that same thought when I first saw that Bulls colorway, they'd probably look better with white laces switched in. They look even better than I thought!

ya, someone else posted their pair of black-grey 89s with laces like that months ago
it does look good (coming from a person who never switches laces)

the black-grey 89 has become my beater
now that they've broken in, they are honestly comfortable, more so than the aj4 retros of this year to me

These are actually pretty dope to me. Black lace swap because those laces right now are really tacky. That black speckle on the cement though

I kind of wish they switched the materials on the shoe... The leather should be suede/nubuck and vice versa because I just think the leather would just crease a hell of a lot more. I'd definitely cop these for the right price.

Two new CWs for 2013 just announced. Again, I'd rather have the materials switched again here... that tumbled leather is such a tease next to that pleather.

Heh, that was me. Nice to see others swapping to really make those shoes really pop. The black/greys have also become my beaters. The padding on them is just amazing compared to the IVs this year.. pretty glad there's little to no hype surrounding 89s.

Hopefully they go on sale for Christmas, so that I can cop another pair. There was a pretty good deal on Cyber Monday, but I already bought so many other things during the weekend that I just couldn't pull the trigger.
