Nike Air Flight 89: now on NIKEiD

did these ever come out in an all white colorway? as in coke white? if so can someone point me in the direction of a size 10?

Yes there have been white on white 89's, the last time I saw them was a few years back when I bought mine. I think it must have been 08 or 09
 
i just checked, my all whit 89's are even older then i thought. manufactured in november 2007. no wonder the midsoles are yellowing even though i havent worn them much.

Nice colorway, tumbled leather...could do without the patent though.
 
I got the true blue 89s and the white/black/red 89s with the red laces. I would prefer these over a pair of retro 4s. They priced way better, awesome colorways, and I would rather have a nike swoosh than a triangle strap. for real lol

got rid of my 2012 aj4 retros due in part to the overwhelming discomfort experienced
never want another stiff white pleather aj retro again

turned a pair of my 2012 af89 into beaters (one specific pair is more comfy that the others i got)
i like to be comfortable in my beaters

still like the design of the air jordan 4 over the air flight 89...in theory...
but not the examples currently presented by nike

Im not going to lie i always like the Nike flight 89' just because of the retro look. Sometimes its nice to see some all leather sneaker compared to all the new Nikes that are made out of new technology. As much as i like them i never bought a pair smh and i know like 4 years ago they had some pretty nice colorway. How do they fit?

or a 1/2 size smaller than the 2012 aj4 retros
(because the toebox is still shaped like it's supposed to be on the 89's)

PS - if ya get em, try for an original colorway if you like them!

I don't know, I would say TTS from what I have and have tried on recently. I guess if you have a wider foot half size up would make sense but the good thing about these is the lack of hype so you should have no problem going in to a store to try them on.

I just never ended up buying any retro 4s so I cant say if the 89s wear better or not. Speaking of how the 89s fit though, I just sold my black/red/white 89s today because I wore em to school last week and the shoe was just way too tight, even after i laced em thru the widest foot holes. I bought the true blues and black/red/white both in size 11 even tho i wear 10.5 cuz the 10.5 was tight anyways. The true blues fit great in 11 for me, but like i said the black/red/white jus needed to go. I think because the true blues are made out of real leather, and alot of the black/red/white is that plastic leather bulls#it.

I agree when i saw this photo I was sold on em, went to another website for my size and saw different pic and the patent isnt great. Still ill cop if I can get my size - ANYONE KNOW ANY WEBSITE SELLING THESE? (Size sold out)

Been a massive fan of the 89's since 1989. Was the first pair of Nike I had that had a window. Was lucky enough to have the white - royal blue in 89. I have collected them as they have retroed over the years and was happy to see the white - blue again this time around. My favourite are still the royal blue upper with the white nike strip closely followed by the HOH purple that dropped last year. I still play in the royal blue - white and the midsole is holding up strong. I wish they used the same materials with the retro's now. Thats the biggest difference I have seen over the years.
