Really? I thought AJ-4 was some kind of high-end version of Flight '89 since both were designed by Tinker and Flight '89 came out little before AJ-4 did.

It's not a high end version.. The 4's just borrowed the midsole..
The same way the jordan 3 uses the midsole from the air revolutions.
And how the 8's use similar straps to the air raids

On the size tag there is a style 10 digit style code. Punch that into google and it should let you know all about that shoe

I advice u to create your own thread since this is Air Flight '89 thread and the model u are asking doesn't have anything to do with Flight '89. But I assume it's gonna be difficult since Google doesn't find anything after searching that style code of 902002-170 tho.

Since I've seen no one mentioning about em although they are supposed to be the updated version of Flight '89, what y'all think about those Air Flight Squads that became available in Japan little while ago?
Released as QS and Black one is mostly gone at Mita while whites are still there in all sizes.

Def. wouldn't mind copping if that happen (I mean, never consider neither for retail that's around $130 here), but QS label doesn't let them go down like $50 - $60, the range I may consider pulling the trigger tho.

I will settle for them using better leather..or real leather..but oh well. Just the fact they retro'd the wht/royal and wht/red was great for me.
Now they need to retro the wht/black....

Yeah, maybe color the swoosh or the mesh part of the tongue. Not bad though. They are probably much more comfortable than the recent Grape Vs that I have and hate wearing.
