Yeah, haven't heard anything yet. Was also supposed to be another CNCPTS collab that we haven't heard a peep about either.

Unless I'm just reading an article posted in November 2012 that's mysteriously dated today regarding the WPF, I think they're alluding to a new collab that's just as iconic as the WPF.

thanks for that info. hopefully the CNCPTS is dope I haven't been disappointed in a collab of theirs yet so hopefully they come through with the new one

Excuse the regular dunk talk that I'm about to proceed with, but I wanted to share with the thread.

This week I turned 30 and my Mom (who knows next to nothing about shoes, other than her son loves them) got on NikeID (though she was given that idea) and designed a pair of kicks for me for the milestone birthday all on her own as a surprise. She ended up choosing the Dunk Highs, so I thought I would share. Complete with the 1984 embroidery haha.







Obviously the thought behind these makes them an instant favorite in my collection. I was really surprised that she did that for the kid. Sometimes its the story behind the design of the shoes that gets some of us. Sometimes it's the story about how we GOT the shoes that gets us. It's those cases where both of those worlds collide that really make me dig these.

Back to your regularly scheduled SB Dunk program....thanks for letting me share.

I didn't tell anyone in here but I was out late Saturday night with a homie from KoF and I ran into a dude who works at Installation (Colorado Skate Shop) and we chatted because I was wearing the tiff lows and he gave me a 20% off card and told me he could help with SB releases so we'll see where that goes but it'd be nice having a connect at a shop since I don't have any locals in CT.

I think it's just oddly showing today's date, I've seen that before with some older articles on NDC. WPF had a November release date too if I remember right.

Yeah the link is dated 11/2012 so it would make sense. I don't know, I guess wishful thinking will out logic every day of the week... haha

I hope this is true. I doubt the branding will be on the QS release so that's good.

This happened a few months back as well on the wpf release page
 
Quarter Snacks are looking better and better but man, I think NB might have my money come fall with the 997PR in terms of a black/brown shoe

Isn't NB about to roll out insane pricing on most of their higher end shoes? I was talking with the manager at a local shop and he was telling me he's not sure who they're marketing towards, but that he doesn't expect to be able to carry too much of the new stuff since people scoff at $170 for a pair of NB never mind 240 and up.

Could be wrong but I don't think they have rope laces, just SB and flat as the alt laces. I think just the lace holder on the tongue has 3M

It pretty much began once they brought back the 997 model with the $200 price point. The 997PR are supposed to be the "premium line" of the author's pack. Pricing is all across the board. I've seen $230 to $260. I think MSRP is $260 but a lot of shops are marking them down to $230 already since they know they're gonna sit.

That's the great thing about NB though, a lot of their GRs might be highly priced but they almost always sit. Plus, outo f all the sneaker brands, they might have the most consistent quality with their 997/998 model.
 
ending the NB talk from me with this anecdote. I missed out on getting the Grey 997 that SAT at my local shop when they finally marked them down 70% off to not have much product to move when they moved to a new location a few weeks ago. I was out of town the weekend they did the markdowns and totally missed out on a great pair at a great price, that now I won't buy unless I can find them for that cheap.
