2024 NIKE SB DUNK THREAD_____GRs and QSs added

lol i have mixed feelings on kixify..

they have some good deals, but there is 0% screening of who is allowed to put what up

so many listings without tagged pics, stolen pics, fake pics, etc.

then the listings "dont buy, text me to purchase" - you text them and the price changes or they're on some swindlin

I did get one of my grails i've been hunting for 5 yrs or so though, and at a good price

but it was from a kid who had to have his mom call me to tell me she wasn't able to drive him to the post office 3 days in a row and blah... blah... blah..
That is actually false.

I work for them, and part of my daily routine is screening . Just takes time, we're a small-ish team.

I managed to get my NDS pair for $120 shipped. Steal of the century for me.
When I was made aware of the auction via this thread, the bid was at 120, ended at 145 plus shipping.  I couldn't be happier with that price.  I need to swap the laces out and find time to un-DS these beauties!!!

kixify is hit/miss. ive bought 2 things from there and got scammed on 1 of them, got my money back so its all good

can you IP ban members?

also, why not make new listings require approval for new users without feedback..

I've only been on the site a couple times, but ive found there are a lot more craigslist looking listings than ebay looking listings as far as tagging pics properly, accurately describing shoes, etc.

Approving each new listing for new users would take wayyyyy too much time. Maybe if it was a small site/community but at the rate that its growing that would be near impossibru.

And yes, there are a lot of BS listing, BUT in due time my friend, in due time....

Plus, it comes in rushes. Imagine every Saturday morning...Its a clusterfrack of screenshots for all the dummies that bought that mornings release.

i dunno what kind of business model you guys operate on

but charging for listings, even $.25 could be greatly beneficial to reduce clutter if your reputation is outpacing your staffing

I'm personally of the belief that screenshot listings shouldn't even be allowed.

PayPal covers every transaction, so even if something does go wrong, you're covered about 99% of the time.

Just takes way too long. Most listings aren't an issue and it saves us time in the customer service department, too. Can't tell you how many emails we'd get like "HEY MAN IT'S BEEN 4 MINUTES WHY ISN'T MY LISTING APPROVED YET?!?!?!"

We wouldn't be able to attract as many sellers if we did that. Would take away from the "cheaper than eBay" point.
Kixify gives off a sleazy craigslist type vibe

They generally aren't. We usually require actual photos of the shoes you have. We currently don't require handwritten tags unless we are performing a legit check. Just too many listings to comb over like that.

What it always boils down to for me on kixify is that the stuff that I'm actively seeking isn't being sold on there. The stuff that I'm willing to make a rash decision and buy as soon as I find it is all in 15+ years old, and not worth too much money. When I do browse it ends up just making me mad at all the guys that think they're going to end up being featured in some blog/magazine over how much money they make flipping week- a few months old shoes.
