I like that I favor shoes that aren't hot in my city. Being able to walk into my local shop mid week and getting shoes is the best. I did a raffle for some non SB shoes today, and while it was a pretty smooth process, I don't like having to run around town to line up a pair.

That's what's wrong with this hobby now and days...people look at it like it's a job or necessity to get every and any pair that they can turn around and make a quick dollar, even if it is only $20. I may have my spite and be salty about missing a release but it's just a shoe, there's always another pair releasing a week or two later to help with the consolement lol

Yeah I think that gold swoosh is a nice touch to the shoe. I'm not crazy about the snake eyes like some are but if they had a gold swoosh I probably wouldn't second guess buying a pair.

This is true. My girl struck forgot to wake me up in time to properly prep for the release and I got caught off hard and missed that window to actually have a shot. She felt bad and bought them off eBay from a reseller who had them in hand for $250. Now I gotta marry her.

I hear you. I'm 38 and have been collecting sneakers since I was in grade school. Just the fact that we have to wake up at a certain time, and pray that we're able to cop online is sad. I haven't camped out for sneakers in years, and I'm not about to now. I miss the days of being able to find a new release mid-week in stores.
Had no interest in the Jordan SBs, so no loss for me here. I'm ready for the Rivalry Pack, specifically the Hoyas as I'm feeling the Terminator look on those.

Well circumstances were different today. I had to drop her off somewhere at 930 but my sister was touching down from a flight at 849( I got off work at 2am so I really needed some sleep). I so I stayed over her house in order to handle both of these chicks on time. I was like wake me up at 7, she dead forgot and was just doin her thing. My internal sneakerhead clock woke me up at 7 50 but that wasn't enought time to get all my twitter decks ready so I struck out. I have a few friends who copped so I probably would have gotten a pair. I was real heated since I told her this was the only big release I wanted for the next couple months , which is why she felt bad enough to buy them for me.

Check the bay for piggys I saw one for 200 from the uk the other day( even though they were dirt cheap the first few months they were out) let me know of you find a pair, I need an 11 also.

ask the seller if he can do ems with you (or whatever they call it in uk) or if he's just inflating the price. I've seen piggys come and go but those are the best I've seen in the past year.

Happy that I was successful today as I honestly liked these from the jump AND I love Jordan 1s, but this release can't bode well for the near future.
