Excuse the tiny, at work, iphone pic but these came in today. $55 off of ebay.Now I need to pull the trigger on a pair of Oceanics for LOST fanatic purposes.
When the Oceanics were coming out I was at the tail end of a burn through the series to catch up before the last season started. Ended up grabbing both the Oceanics and the Dharma blazers. Those Blazers didn't get much love, but I love the little touches on it.

I like the Tiff's alot but they're not really that comfortable. Get more compliments on them than any other shoe but it's not about the compliments for me. In terms of comfort, you can pretty much reverse that list and it would be correct. In terms of aesthetics, I would say Tiff > YOTH > SOMP > AJ1 SB.
But again, in terms of my favorite releases this year SOMP > YOTH > Tiff > AJ1SB
I don't even own the YOTH yet, but I know that suede, and I already know how it feels.

Release of the year is by far the YOTH. All red prem suede with leather, gold swoosh, clear bottom with gold sprinkles and gold coin lace locks i mean really....

lol.. I guess some of you are right. In terms of quality my order would be wrong. The YOTH quality is amazing and I can't believe I passed on them.
My order is more hype than quality but then again sneakers are really based on "hype" IMO... heh

ahhh to some they are; I buy shoes I like
BA Projects and Koston 1's are probably my fav new models and it seems not too many people give a damn especially for the BA's

Diamond high aren't even close to the SOMP or YOTH. I hate that the YOTH have the yeezy beast out, but the shoe itself is dope, materials and rope laces. Need to wear mine.

I tend to have run ins with older people, people that came up during the jogging craze in the late 70s early 80s, so old school running shoes speak to them more than some basketball shoe from the 80s that was repurposed for skating and comes in crazy colors.
I honestly wish someone from Nike SB would read these boards and run with my idea for a non herbal ***** Runner's High pack. The stuff they did with those shoes in the 70s was pretty out there.

I know not an SB but if you guys are looking for some clean all white beaters to wear I copped these at forever 21 the other day for $30. Not bad looking and quality is decent and dgaf if they get ruined

I can get behind that. 2005 was all over the place, I spent half of that summer working like crazy to save some money for the second half, when I worked on a really small crew putting together a pilot for a travel documentary in Spain. 2 bombing scares, 20 hour work days when we were filming, and then I got back in town just in time to have the world flip over when most of my friends and their families lost everything in a hurricane. I totally missed the original Diamond release and it wasn't until later when I felt I needed to get a pair to put some closure on a tumultuous year.
Looking back 9 years later though, 2005 wasn't that terrible a time. I'd hate to do the hurricane evac and living with friends bit again, but everything else was pretty ACE.
