Agreed. My lows came in yesterday, definitely underwhelming.

I still like the HS collection and the way they look overall but not having textured materials prevent me from loving them (sheds a tear). Copped the highs this morning nonetheless.

they got evicted from that place about a month or two after I was there back in 2009 and the current place isn't as party happy as the old one.

We went and picked up an Audi Q7 TDI...drove it from Virginia through West Virginia to Ohio and that was a fun drive! That thing handles like a beast and has crazy torque.

Back to the thread....when's those "Stars" joints come out? I think I may pass on the royal jpack's and get those lol

I believe sometime in june I know they've stated the date here in the thread but I can't remember the exact date.

oh they're a little beat but this pair will never leave my collection until the suede has completely been worn down to reveal holes. It was a gift from my GF back before she realized how bad buying me pairs was.
 
Question #1.) Do you feel Nike SB was better off without release dates? Has the implementation of release dates changed your view of Nike SB?

Question #2.) Do you feel that the collabs with Jordan Brand hurt Nike SB in anyway?

    

Question #3.) If you were Nike SB and you could create a SB to represent the 4th of July would it look like? Describe what the Dunk SB would look like using the format I've provided.

(You can do as many different SB dunks as you want)

FORMAT:

1.) Name of  dunk and is it a dunk high or dunk low?

2.) Nickname of dunk?

3.) Brief description of materials used and coloring on side panels, toe cap, heel, tongue, laces, sole and insole. (I will accept Photoshop canvas picture.)

4.) Explain the inspiration behind the Dunk SB.

5.) How would it be released?
 
1. I'm not so sure about this one. An actual release date on QS's means you can't miss the drop. If you have quickstrikes that trickle anytime from brick and mortar stores it's hugely luck based. You can be late and miss the drop entirely. A date builds hype, but also it's not like pairs can sneak by you. I think I prefer a release date.

2. It hasn't hurt it, but I am not interested. Just a way to make money I guess but it's uninspired in my opinion. I prefer SB and Jordans to be seperate.

3. Gonna skip the custom dunk. Sorry John! :tongue:
