I personally think they're pretty nice. If you put QS on these they'd be an instant sell out and would be reselling for twice retail. Suede isn't up to par when comparing to SOMP's nor YOTH but it's nice.

But he posted several times that he doesn't like the DJ because as an almost 30 year old he's "too old" for them. And if he's looking for a valid reason, isn't that by definition seeking validation? He's totally free to do what he wants, as I said I don't have a horse in this race either way, just don't let whatever he decides be completely swayed by the opinions of the thread. If he chooses to keep the DJ and they rot in his closet, don't blame the thread for telling him not to go with the J-Pack (especially if they somehow end up being pairs that go for way over box years down the road) and conversely don't get mad at the thread if he does a trade and the J-Pack end up being released in such quantities that you can find them together for the price of 1 a few months down the line.

Man we got resellers in here just flauntin' that they're reselling nowadays...Taking advantage of the links/deals that get posted in here....picking up said deals, then posting pics of said deals in here (never on foot pics) and then putting links in their sig line with the same pics of shoes for sale.....at least they used to just lurk.

Yup - that's why I rep those on the feet pics and never care for the double/tripled up almost looks like a stock room pics. I don't judge or say anything (I know there are guys here who legit double and triple up on a shoe they like in this thread and the AJ1 thread) but the cynic in me tells me the majority are being flexed/flipped.

Agreed...you can tell these were made with a little better materials than most recent GR. Like I said, if these had "QS" tagged with them, they'd be sold out at every shop within a few hours.

Personally, I play by the rules set by the other person. If they're flossing, acting like they are the greatest thing since sliced bread, but rocking some NTDenim, I'll get my chuckles at their expense. Fools thinking they doing it and all. Everytime NDC does a restock is a knife to the chest for me. Since I am based outside US it kills me that they do not accept overseas cards or even a confirmed US account paypal with an overseas issued card.

I try to use that excuse all the time but always end up buying something anyway lol I think over the past couple months I've bought so many shoes that I'm starting to get tired of lacing em up when I get em. Hell just Yesterday when I got my YOTHs I almost just threw em back in the box after taking them out and doing a inspection over em. But after my Royals come in today, I think I can officially be on a small break only other shoe I want this month is Carmine 6.

I'm really liking how the Royals are looking with the black laces. I think at first I was one of the only ppl who thought the blue laces would be my choice but after looking at these pics I must say black looks very good.
