I see everyone hates mids due to the strap. Does nobody hate the fact that try are extremely uncomfortable? For me they come right to the middle of my heel/ankle bone. No matter what the mid, I won't touch them strictly because of where the sit on my heel

Yea that's what I was thinking. Kinda wanted to try black SB laces but I only have some for lows. Guess I could check out fully laced after I get tired of rocking the red ones

Let us know if they rub up against your ankle and if its uncomfortable Rice! I tried on te photo blue ones once, were to big and had a defect so I returned them. Those Haloween ones look so fire

The Halloween mids are dope. I just couldn't stand walking around the store with the top of the shoe landing in the middle of my heel. Too bad.

will do... these are almost worth doubling up on IMO.. not crazy about them being "Giants" colors, but i love Halloween and the insole.

I absolutely love mids. I don't own any right now tho cause they generally don't get great (or many) color ways. Also, just rock the strap loose (not through the eyelet on the other side of the shoe).
If you're doing that, they obviously sit higher on your ankle than lows, but they shouldn't be uncomfortable provided you're wearing tall enough socks.

I have both old styled mids and the ones with the new tooling. Both are great. Don't get any sort of rubbing whatsoever. I rock em with the strap loose for what it's worth.
