2024 NIKE SB DUNK THREAD_____GRs and QSs added

I looked at that description in the warmth pack low that @rapcoz2134  posted... the seller stated "slightly cushiony for snowboot fit and warmth". Is that just a bunch of words strung together? or could the warmth pack actually have different padding?

rickyiswhite rickyiswhite I seem to remember the semi official word at the time was that the team riders felt they got a more nuanced shoe with thin tongues. They were expecting the fans that bought the shoes to just go along with it, but I guess the numbers were awful since they went back to the stuffed tongue about a year later.

What's funny is that if you dig deep enough you can find a thread from the early days of Nike SB on these forums with people complaining about how the stuffed tongues ruins the shape of the Dunk, and there's even a guide to unstuffing the tongue to make it more like older dunks.
 
@mints that makes sense on NT

On stashed boxes (n-sb.org) the stuffed tongue was welcomed, and the guides I remember were how to stuff your thin tongue non SB dunks

I do like a thick tongue tho pause. Thats one of my favorite things about the SOMP

I'd jump on them at that price. Especially since even though they're old as hell, they'll be 100% wearable provided the owner didn't store them in an oven or something dumb like that.

If it's your first pair of stuffed tongue pro Bs be aware that the tongue strap is a little high. They tend to fit a bit uncomfortably on my feet because of where it tightened the tongue. I just lop off the strap, but I never plan on selling any of my old dunks.

No problem, I realize they have had 'a' sale going on for awhile now, but I just got an email this morning stating '70% off'.  Figured I'd check it out, sorry if it's old news for some...
 
If only those venoms were 11.5. Anyone know if they by chance ran a little big? I'll beat them up so they have to fit well.
 
I cleaned my iron lows 3 days ago and they still haven't gone back to their normal shade of grey, did I mess them up?

After all this time I'm still trying to understand WHY we pay 100x MSRP for some shoes and HOW did it ever get this far?

I'm not saying that shoes can't be worth some $$$ to YOU but WHY/HOW did it happen?

This is NOT A START OF BATTLE, it's just my mind set free.

never have, never will. When I first started copping seriously, I set a $200 limit on myself. To this day I still adhere to it. A shoe is only worth what you want it to be and to me anything over 200 is too sweet for my blood. Thats why I never understood why people ask others question like "whats the goin rate for these?" , "I'm thinking about this trade offer, should I do it?", or "what are these worth?"

Yup. My limit is at 2 bills as well. I wish I could get away with €100 but I crossed that line when I started to buy Air Force's lol.
