I think they really nailed the

concept

Maybe a black sole to represent tires, or maybe they're supposed to be a ship and the clear sole is water. Either way, best execution of a concept all year
 
Hello NT... I'm looking for the Nike SB t-shirt that matches the recently released northern light dunks. i've searched around on the net and can't seem to come across it anywhere.  if anybody knows of a spot that still has some for sale please PM me.  THANKS!!!

no i didn't mean the civilists were a joke, i meant my including them in the list was a joke since they a) didn't come out in 2014, and b) were dubbed the worst dunks ever by someone who we already clowned for saying that.

Also I kinda like the black sheep.
 
Alright just got in from running around all day. Saw a bunch of notifications via email that I'd been mentioned in the thread.

I'm really not that cool. I'm a big old nerd in the classic definition of the word. Just about any one that'd ever meet me would come away thinking "what a ******* cornball," but I appreciate that I at least come across as erudite over the forums. Since really getting into the hobby I've turned into more and more of a homebody, outside of drinks with friends on Saturdays I kind of just work and hang out with my girl our dogs and veg out online/playing games/reading/tv.


As for those I'd like to hang with on here, there's too many to narrow it down to one, but I'd love to kick it with people that don't normally get along on line and see if they couldn't find some common ground in real life.


Those concept cars are crazy, but that's how it's supposed to look if it really is supposed to be like a test mule, they do those patterns so that even if you catch the car out on the street if you snap a photo the pattern will break up the look of the car. When I was in Detroit last year I saw some Ford test mule driving around with this weird matte paint and that sort of pattern down in Greektown.

As for what the worst dunks of the year were, I don't really dwell too much on what I don't like, but I'll have to say I really didn't like how they executed the Hoyas pair of the rivalry pack, I wanted to see a SB Terminator, but they just blocked it like one. Fantastic Colorway ruined by Nike hamstringing the concept.

Just that if the designer is, in fact, using the contour camo that they use on cars, boats, fighter jet prototypes, etc as inspiration he is imitating a different facet of life/industry and bringing them to the shoe world.  No different than what the SB Dunk brand has been so good at in the past (weak money grabs not included). Hats off to the designer for digging deep but nobody can say with a straight face that they're not hard to look at.

It would be really hard for me to pick one person so I'll say Dcypoe, Osy, Gusa and BIP would most def be on the list. There's a ton of people in here I would like to chill with though.

They look better in person, I will say that. But they're just not my type of dunk. TOO MUCH going on.

A lot of shops turned them down though so that why they seem limited. Most shop owners saw them and refused the  orders outright. Can't blame them though. These are a tough sale.

Daaaaayuuuumn. I feel you. I have the same problem with clothes. I'm pretty neat with my sneakers. Box them back in within 1 or 2 days.
 
I like crazy sneakers lol I use to b all about crazy shirts n shoes not any more just plain ol tees for me latly

N ill b willing to drop 2-250 for the black Sheeps come say jan or feb lol not now tho

Sorry if any of this is old news....

De Las should be late January/February
Air mag lows are a "GR" and should drop in May 2015, those black grape looking dunk highs are also releasing in May.
white on white w/ clear sole dunk high
all red low (may end up being wiz of oz related)
haven't seen pics but dunk low blk/red grey/black speckled midsole(possibly bred 4 inspired)
Wizard of oz low looks like it might be called "twister" a shop from Iowa
Maybe another JB x Nike SB as well
