For those that keep their shoes outside their boxes..... what do you do with the boxes?

I have a whole closet full of empty boxes.... I can't even imagine throwing the boxes away

I'm still sad about the adidas box I had to trash when I found a pair of suede Campus in Chicago in 2003 (couldn't find Campus anywhere back then)

this is a pic from my bike/board room that I just reorganized this morning and consolidated all my overflow shoes and boxes to this closet (vs 3)

in the closet is 5 stacks of empty boxes, plus two with shoes in them

ALso what do you do with all the extra laces?

Definitely gonna have to save money for the drops in May. All I care for are the De La Lows, BttF's, & Chi 1's. The Corks can't most def wait. Smh gonna be an expensive month.

But I do hope those CNCPTS & BttF's are comin out in June tho.

used to be youngest daughter's room, then she moved into the oldest's room when she went to college

Doing some cleanup today myself.  I built a custom shelving system with this exact problem in mind.  Wanted a way to display the shoes and still keep the boxes.  This is what I have... (Keep in mind that I double on everything I love and built it to accommodate that).  Also, as time when on, I reevaluated my need to have doubles of lows because I don't wear them as often and it works out really nicely.  So if you're not a team OCD maniac like me it actually works out really nice(for lows).  The dream setup would be to have 'ice boxes' for everything and display everything like the top shelf is now but those things are just too damn expensive! They do look great though...

Could look like this without doubles...

Also accommodates triples!

Yea I am fortunate to have a whole room in my place for my office/closet.  The main motivation for me was simply to have them out.  It's much easier when you can see everything at a glance.  I have no idea how some of the bigger collections are even functional.  I've made a decision to limit myself to the space I have at this point so it doesn't get out of hand.  The thought is to get rid of something if I want to buy something new, but I gotta say I have reached that point where whatever has to go will be something I really like/love.  Kinda sucks, so many great SB's such little time to wear them all!

I was gonna bid on those FTCs but I ended up scooping the Cinnabars Friday night...Raging Bulls ended for a reasonable price though, nice pickup.

Great find, repped.  And the 3Ms are easily my most worn SB, but probably because I wear a lot of black and grey and they hold up GREAT in any weather.  Love how it works with ANY black and grey due to the 'color change' (don't need a flash, I notice it when I wear 'em and walk through different lighting), has a very cool effect..
