"It" scared the crap out of me when I was a kid. Talk about sleeping in my Mothers room for almost a month.

"oh yes georgie, they float, they all float down here. and when you're down here YOU'LL FLOAT TOO!"

Didn't sleep for weeks after seeing that as a kid, in fact a few of those scenes of Pennywise haunted me for years.

I think those of us that are in our late 20s-early/mid 30s that saw that movie as kids probably HATE clowns now because of it.

im 33... read the book in elementary school before watching the movie. didnt scare me since "poltergeist" already had its place in my mind. catholic upbringing led me to believe in ghosts rather than clowns.

Well then it should be extra scary

He is Legion, so he has biblical implications

I saw bits and pieces of the movie when I was a kid but psycho clowns never really scared me. The story of the sad clow, "Paggliacci," hit me alot harder and it made me feel sorry for clowns in general. I saw them as people forced to entertain behind smiling masks of makeup while they were terribly depressed or sad inside.

could be wrong, but it was a miniseries right? I remember it being one of the few DVDs with a side B when they first came out.

See I'm 34 and basically same story read the book and many other King novels by the 5th/6th grade. The book gets seriously dark at the end too especially for an 11 year old

One of my bros stopped by for the first time in a long time

He was real big into dunks and Jordans in the early 2000's so he wanted to see my shoe closet and stuff

It was super cool being able to show the stuff in person, so much better than e-flexing

He stopped buying shoes when his mom defaulted on their family storage unit (containing 50+ Jordans from 95-2004) and didn't bother to tell anyone

Someone got a hell of a shock when they auctioned off that unit..... He is still pissed about it
