I'm gonna have to agree which actually make the clear section make more sense.

It'd be cool if the clear part was actually a diffraction grate

For me, personally, it just adds to the concept of the shoe and helps with the execution of that. Like the Rukus SB was a great dunk on its own, but the packaging took it to another level. Same with UCS, WPF, Lobs...

Gotta agree with you here. I don't care what the packaging looks like it, I won't be wearing the box, and it won't change my mind on what the shoe looks like.

Don't get me wrong, nice packaging is appreciated, but it won't put a dunk over the top for me, or make it a cop from a pass.

Don't get me wrong, nice packaging is appreciated, but it won't put a dunk over the top for me, or make it a cop from a pass.
