Repped!

Oh forreal. Otherwise we wouldn't be here. Also why you don't see me in here alot anymore.

Yeah, and then you're left wondering: "how much dough did I spend on this? How much could I have made investing that money? Time wasted?" SO MANY QUESTIONS.

word i used to be like that back in the day. but now, **** it. i'm handling business so whatever money i got left over i can blow it on whatever. life's too short for the bad trip that is buyer's remorse. unless of course i didn't enjoy sneakers. but i do for whatever reason so no need to feel some type of way about it, imho

space on the other hand. i regret taking up all the damn space in the crib that i do with sneakers. that's usually my motivation to sell a few pairs...

but in terms of money and time though, **** it i spent both how i wanted to spend em

My thoughts: this tumbled leather is stuff, would've been infinitely better if the leather that was used on the moto helmet joints was used on these. The images on the outsoles are a cool touch but pretty much indiscernible through the translucent outsole. The nubuck (the grey part, I'm calling it nubuck for lack of a better word) is FINE. I'm talking about fine in the sense of a fine grain sandpaper, it's very very soft, almost to the point where it feels rubbery, but not quite...it's hard to explain. The best subtle detail on these to me is the metallic silver Nike branding on the tongue tag.

Thinking about throwing red laces in them, is that tacky?

those are dope - ^ got my pair on hold RN, can't get in to grab em till Thursday, but can't wait to swoop em man!

um harsh wording (disgusting) .... Don't like I can dig that but seriously such harsh language comes off a bit gender-biased with a shoe designed specifically for women.

I call it how I see it, emphasis on I. There's guy shoes that I think look horrendous. Doesn't mean a Damn thing unless you take it that way...everyone's so touchy now a days DF...

One of my friends keeps trying to tell me I could have bought this or that with the money I've spent......

He's my best friend, but he lives in his workshop and he owns NOTHING.... rents his place, making payments on his truck

I bet I've spent less on my shoes than he has spent on cigarettes

Makes me sad, some of the choices he's made in his life....

He will be with me at my table at the Htown Sneaker Summit... I just got a table so he can try to sell his woodworking skills.... AKA custom sneaker storage! lol (plus gets me in early AND gives me a place to sit)

Info, on Them Sneaker Custom Storage?
My best friend is a cabinet builder/woodworker

Last year we redid my closet to display a ton of shoes (instead of them being stacked in boxes

He has done closet remodels before so all I had to do was design it and install it... we used his tools/shop to build it

He's very good at what he does and we have been coming up with different kinds of storage for shoes to hopefully display in his booth at the event (I paid for the booth hoping that he would get a job or two out of it.... plus I'll have a place to sit)

In the parlance of hip hop ...my bad. Your disdain for the shoe is derived from the horrible neutral palette based in whites and creams which sullies the very nature of the SB line which derives its uniqueness among the many Nike brands by being intrinsically unique in its colorway choices.

Thanks for the review. They looked much better in the stock photos. I'm glad I passed but the Nike Tongue Tag is my favorite part of the shoe as well!

to me it seems like the leather on the grays is softer than the blacks

could just be my pairs though

Waiting for my other local to get theirs so I can compare..... they are pissed theirs have not arrived yet!

Can anyone help me find Black SB laces but with red TIPS? Or have an alternate idea? I wanna put them on my salt stains

Isn't that how the stock laces with Salt Stains came? Or did the red laces have black tips? I traded my pair, don't exactly remember.

Thanks for the review, the grey rubber material sounds like the same stuff on the Barron Jordan 1s if anyone in here has both the atlas and Barron in hand and would like to check, it would be appreciated. quote name="rapcoz2134" url="/t/303260/2015-nike-sb-dunk-thread-grs-and-qss-added/145530#post_23726037"]
