Thanks you guys, I think perhaps Nike should work on taking less crappy stock picks. Good pics on feet really help me decide whether I want to buy a shoe or not

Stop 2: Albany...hit up Seasons, owner was super chill. They only had a few pairs of SBs, all new, the owner said they sell out of pretty much all pairs (GR and QS) within the week that they get them.

Also hit up the 'High Off Kicks' consignment shop just a few doors down, guy there was much more laid back than the spot in Buffalo, but they didn't have a single pair of SBs for (re)sale.

Remember to support your local or you might not have one anymore.

This brings up a Great Point, that I just had with my friend.
He used to buy all his clothes, skate gear and sneaks(mostly Nike) at the Local.
He then started shopping exclusively online and hasn't stepped in a Skate shop for years...
He's arguement was that anything you want to buy at a skeate shop, you can now buy online; Plus everything is cheaper.
I have supported my Local since Day One.
Since I have built a relationship with them, I am treated with discounts sometimes; which he used to be also.
My Local has gone through Management changes within the years since they opened, but have continued to support even if I can/could find something cheaper online, or even somewhere else.
He says that he has no loyalty to one shop/location as long as he can get his/these things cheaper.
My thought is this: If I like something they carry, I'll buy it regardless if I get a discount or not; Plus I beleive in supporting all my local businesses, they have to make money like the rest of us and want to offer the best quality of whatever it may be that they are selling: Records, Bagels, Skate gear, etc...
(Just my Opinion.)

Any thoughts?

I'd support my local if they supported me--I've gone in time and time again and told them I'd love to buy shoes but I can't because they never EVER have my size. So, screw it. I'll support places like classic who always show love to #BAESIZE

one week way---I'm so ready.

My girlfriend goes to UAlbany and I hit that place up everytime I am there. Nice shop the drive is almost two hours though so I have not gone to a quickstrike release there.

The Warmth highs were actually marked at $70...they also had 2 15s on the hashwall for $35, sadly they wouldn't let me price match a 13, as "extreme sizing" starts at 13.5 (which isn't made in Dunks) and they had no 14s.

Fairly new to the forum. Just wanted to say hi. Been into sb's since high school. Took a hiatus from shoes in general in college. Recently got back the past year or so. Heard this is one of the best group out there. Broke these guys out today. (Sadly I sold most of my sbs and fcs early in college)

bttf or fast times?
I have both, and prefer the Fast Times looks wise. Some things to keep in mind about the BttF: They are gonna be dirt magnets just due to the materials used, and they're also crease monsters if that bothers you. But I really like both of them, can't lose either way.

Is that better?

"Tiff" is short for Tiffani Amber Thiessen who played Kelly on Saved by the bell. It's a nickname for the Diamond Supply shoe which she made popular by wearing in a 1992 episode of Saved by the Bell. Nicky Diamonds, founder of Diamond Supply was working as a wardrobe assistant on set and slipped the shoe into her trailer in between takes. She saw them, fell in love, and the rest is history. Some also say that "Tiffs" are a nickname for Tiffany Blue color. A color trademarked by Tiffany and Co. for their boxes. But nahh

So I scored these true DS Jason Voorhees highs in a size 12 for $150. I quickly looked at the pics and bought, they look good to me but the shape is kind of weird in this one photo. I'll post a inside tag pic when I get them, but here's a few screen grabs.

I thought it was worth the risk for $150, especially since the last DS pair sold for $400+ The box is a little beat but oh well.

Stop 3a, Theory's Holyoke location...this store is HUGE.

They have a ton of brands and a gang of sizes of most Teal Box GRs, also had a couple scattered sizes of some recent Quickstrikes and a single size 10 Neckfaces.
