10.5 is the average men's US shoe size. I think it's just reflective volume of production.
^ Isn't it 9/9.5? 🤔

There's no way the average MEN'S shoe size is 9/9.5
I think I know one person with that size and he's 5'4"
Maybe it's the average size including all the kids that buy shoes too
Bell curve production.... 9-10.5 is the most and it tapers off quickly each direction

wanted......... size 11.5 or 12

DS Skeletors, Quartersnacks , or these 304292 036....

any size DS Airwalk pre-1995

Haha nice. Where are you moving from? Yeah maybe I can wear my leather shoes even when it's raining since it really just drizzles/mists there but suede...

"According to a 2014 report by the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons...In the United States, the average man's shoe size is 10.5."

Found this to be true working and ordering for outdoor retail years ago. We had $200k in inventory at a pretty small shop. 10.5 was apex of bell curve when ordering and size 8,13 would still hit disco often.

I deal with the same conundrum. Especially with the pairs that wouldn't do great with the rain. No rain today, yet, so I feel comfortable sporting my '05 BTTYS Villanovas.

I'm moving from Boise, Idaho which is about 8 hours from Seattle, but it's usually fairly dry here.

Nice, good luck and safe travels on the move. I'm interested in how it all goes/how it is adjusting there so keep us updated. At least they won't hate you right away for moving from California. I hear they are kind of tired of californians moving there. :lol

Hahaha. So many people here are from different places you get kind of used to it. Haha. What gets annoying is when you're talking to people about some Seattle stuff and they're like "oh, I'm not from here. I'm from (fill in the blank)." No hate though. You just say to yourself "where are all the Seattleites?"
