Cool I guess, but can somebody tell me why/how this became like a "thing" to do? Seems like a really obscure thing to come up with and then do repeatedly. I've seen them with Js and whatnot also. I guess maybe it's over my head.

yeah I'm with you man; don't get what's cool about this, basically ruining a pair of shoes people readily want but to each their own

i once met this guy that made masks out of shovels (just the metal part).  It was pretty cool, i guess, but there must just be some artists are just into making masks.
 
checkout process took way too long. Missed out in my size. Oh well, still holding out for retail no tax free ship.
 
Damn that was quick. I've been trying to track down a 4.5. Better luck next time. There's still a 6.5 up if anyone's interested.

She sounds like a good woman. Don't think my girl will do that but she will get up in morning and help me try for a pair on NDC or something.

I would never do that to my girl. She'd do it for me but I'd never ask her to. For me, the kicks are not as important as a happy, healthy relationship with my lady. That would errode quickly if she had to get up at 8 AM every Sadderday to help me get kicks (and probably fail most of the time haha).
