not comfortable at all. Had them in my de las and hated them. I just rock my kicks. Why wear shoes that aren't comfortable?

I use them in my tiff highs to take up toe box space. Had to trim the side for extra pinky toe clearance. Other than that I think they're okay. If you have large fitting shoes I'd definitely try them out.

Reeeeeeeeeeeeeepppppppddddddd
I wear purple almost every Saturday in the Fall, and then again during Carnival. and I'm over 30.

To each their own I guess

I wear all kinds of colors too.

I don't get these beliefs about what to wear at a certain age.

Being grown is about being secure in yourself, which, as it relates to fashion, means wearing what you like and makes you feel good.

If you're wearing or not wearing something because you're a certain age and should be more mature, you are still dressing for other people, which is not very mature at all.

I should have been more clear with my statement. I have never worn purple and really font plan on changing my style now. I have a lavender dress shirt and pocket square that I wear occasionally when I want to add a little flare to my suit but that's the only purple piece of attire I've ever worn in my life I'm almost certain of it

Well if you've never worn purple then yeah, not a bad thing. It helps that it's not only socially acceptable, but almost a fashion faux pas NOT to have a purple garment in your wardrobe during Carnival. Going to and being an LSU fan also helps flesh out the amount of purple I wear.

I can't think of anything that I would adamantly refuse to wear. Hell even cross dressing is acceptable here, with a short foot race (excuse to get wasted early in the morning) happening during what's probably the worst heat of the summer.

Sf also has a red dress run never been but I wouldn't be against it. I have done bay to breakers a few times not nearly as crazy as it used to be though. Short of a few kings fans scattered around the bay you really don't see purple often.

And being that my family is from Georgia even looking at an LSU garment for more than a glance is blasphemous.

Now mints I know I don't know you, but, I'm going to ask your advice should I come down there for essence or go to dc for the fourth? I will have a 19 year old with me (my baby brother) (ahh damn he's 19 I'm old as shhhhh)

edit 2: editing one post edited the other. BAH

hadowajp hadowajp I say go for it, especially if you've got a line on tickets to the festival. If you do decide shoot me a PM with what you might like to do and I'll try to put together ideas from a local's perspective (a boring local so there's going to be a lot of low key stuff on the list)
