NT Book Club Vol. WDYRTD

These make 4 books for me finished in 2024 so far. Pace is up from last year, but still want to do better.

So far Ive read 4 books this year. There were a couple of small book they gave me for work I won’t even count. I just finished “Thinking, Fast and Slow”(which I would recommend to everyone!) and “Astrophysics for People in a Hurry”. I kind of want to give myself a break from non fiction for a bit. Anyone have a suggestions for something fictional. Im leaning towards something Horror. Are their any good horror books that HAVE NOT been adapted into a movie?

Also, how much do you guys normally pay for books? I kind of want to check out this "Out Here Screaming", but $25 is kinda steep(yes, I'm cheap imo), seeing that I can get other critically acclaimed books for cheaper. Like, whats too much in you guys opinion?

I pay in the $12-15 range for most of the books I read. I’m not super picky, so I look specifically for books that are on sale.

I have paid $25-$30 for books before, when I was really anxious to read something. But usually I can wait until the price drops.

Honestly I don't read anything until it's in the library  But then again I don't read a bunch of new books.
