NT Book Club Vol. WDYRTD

Anyone ever read The Brothers Karamazov by Fyodor Dostoyevsky

It was suggested to me a couple years back by my Ethics TA. Came across a PDF the other day. Never read an eBook before though. Not sure how this will go.

Never thought I would come across this

I started reading Blood Meridian by Cormac McCarthy yesterday and couldn't put it down.

Mediations is really good.

When you get a chance, I highly recommend Seneca's Letters from a Stoic.

Got my entrepreneurial vibe going on right now.

Hey sorry for the late response didnt see this. I just finished 48laws...ya its definitely a gem. I highly recommend it. Its one of those books youll read over and over thru the years. Very applicable to life. I even chuckled several times cuz situations and examples given had occured to me and were so relatable.

My girl recently read The Girl on the Train and she asked that j read it too. Just got done with it and would say it's a decent read, falls a little flat on the thriller scale in regards to buildup and the great reveal. Overall though, the writing itself is very good and descriptive to a point you start questioning the author and whether she speaks from experience :lol:

Will probably get dragged to the movie when it comes out on Friday too :lol:
 
Book I'm about to start reading this weekend.

Glad this thread was upped. Will be looking for new suggestions soon. Just finished the last of the Dark Tower series and halfway through The New Jim Crow.

Remember that other Book Club thread? I finally finished that first book we were reading in there :lol:

All of these were recommended to me so what the hell. I bought them in the last two weeks. I finished the way of men by jack donovan. I started on Seneca,the life of a stoic. I'm gonna comeback to that one cuz I'm about a quarter into it (it's kinda boring :lol:).

Half way through the game, I'd like to finish that by Sunday.

:lol: word. Good read tho i liked it. I had the condensed version of The Prince. It was easier to read than Art of War, for me at least.

I was reading Tony Robbins's Awaken the Giant Within, but put it down after he spoke on the Central Park 5.

I'm reading Albert Camus's The Stranger now.
