NT can you recommend me some running shoes.

I've been training lately because Im leaving for the AF but I need to get my running up. I have no running shoes because all the sneakers I have is casual and basketball. So whats the best and most comfortable out there that can look good also when worn casually?
I've been running in Pennys and Hyperdunks

 and its awful it gets way too hot and gets really stiff.

Depends... Im starting training this Monday for the marathon in August, I been recommended, HIGHLY, the Vomero 6s. Ugly looking shoe but my girl ran last months marathon in them and did not feel/witness any pain or blistering with those.

I been using the LunarTrainers for the stair master btw...

Vomero=Nike's best all around running shoe
Air Max 2011=if your'e looking for something with maximum impact protection

Lunar Glide/Elite/Eclipse=if you like something thats a little more minimal and lighter weight

Nike Free Run=if you're a minimalist

Best thing to do is to go down to your nearest finishline or local running store and try them all on.

Depends on your stride and the amount of distance you plan to put in the shoe, but most likely the Lunar's will be a better all around shoe for you.

How much do you plan on running? The Vomero's looks like it's made for long distance running, due to the prominent arch in the heel. I run in Lunarglides just cause it is light weight and I only run 2 miles daily, only problem is they don't really last long. So I'm going to have to get a new pair soon.

These are my go to's. IMO, Lunars are more capable of handling all distances than FRs. Also, keep in mind that there are a VARIETY of Lunars out there. But if you like flexibilityin your running, FRs would be the better choice.

Also what terrain do you plan on running on? Is it a tread mill, outdoors on concrete or maybe on dirt? If it is just concrete and you're running every other day then the Lunar's should work. I'm partial to Lunarglides but the best thing would be to go to Finishline or a local running store and trying on the shoes.

Go to Kohls and get them Nike joints

Screw paying 90+ for running shoes. I just bought my running shoes ironically yesterday and bought the Nike Dart 8. Work great
