OFFICIAL HOCKEY THREAD: NHL, KHL, NCAA, IIHL

lame by Lucic but he's right...keep it on the ice. no need to cry and tattle to the media about it. should have handled it the way PK handled it. he handled the question perfectly

The irony coming from a such a classy guy like Lucic

. If I remember correctly, he called out Emelin post game just a few months back for getting on him about his spearing bs. He should listen to his own advice, I'm just glad that he finally gets to enjoy his long offseason early this year

Damn I was planning to go catch the game on the Bell Centre Jumbotron but tickets sold out early this morning...21,000 tickets gone like that :x :\

Was bananers...felt like a real game. It was actually louder than a real one. (Went to game 6 and 3 of tampa) but mainly cause of the audio of the game too. It was more fun than game 6 and game 6 was awesome.

Sounds crazy, louder than an actual game? Damn I didn't know that was possible

. My friend was talking to me after getting off work downtown and I could hear all the car horns and people screaming in the background

. I also heard that they had to shut down Ste Catherine for a bit because of the crowds after the game, wish I could've caught it there

. I'm def gonna try to get out around downtown to catch this next series, the atmosphere there is something else this time of year.

I'm still sad as hell. :frown: Don't even wanna finish watching the playoffs anymore. Now all I got forward to is the draft, which I know Flames will **** up somehow :smh: terrible man, terrible

Game 7 in Anaheim is going to be crazy. Early start time for both teams with the 5pm start.

Gibson has been tough this whole series since he took over in net. Hopefully Quick is on come Friday and no stupid penalties to give that Anaheim power play any chances. I wonder if the crowd will be mostly pro kings come Friday.

Crazy how tonight was the first time the kings had the lead since game 2

 @ Lucic...that's my dude.

DSA - any word on Chara?

Every since that piss-poor effort vs. Pacriottey in game 5 (I think), he just hasn't looked right. Something was clearly ailing him. I hope it's not age and just nagging injuries...

Hes fine. Jus worn out... PK is a handful haha esp when ur missin ur normal D partner. Logged alottt of min against a speed team... Hes headed down that pronger path.

When you're 6'9" 265+ and you can't bring physicality, then I think it's a little more than just being worn out. That play vs. Pacrioetty in game 5 was something that would be acceptable for Mike Green. I was honestly :wow: :smh: when I saw it.

Welp, I'm now pulling for Montreal since Iggy is done.

NBC doesn't wanna clash with The Preakness. And if both series end tonight, I believe the ECF will start Saturday night.

As much as it pains me to say it, I'm actually rooting for them to beat Montreal. TBH, I'd be happy if any of MTL/NYR/ANA wins the Cup. I'd love to see any of Gionta/Henrik/Koivu finally win the big one. Throw PK in there too.

i think his age is showing more than anything. his hand/wrist is the only thing that really looked off. i think other than that, he's worn down. and i don't think it's from having to deal with PK. he wasn't really involved in trying to do that (unless you mean penalty kill  ). but you saw him having to chase around these small and quick forwards all series and he just looked beat. i think his overall game for the first half of the series was alright, but he had nothing in the tank for these last two games it seemed.

the real lameduck on the blue line for boston was bartkowski. the kid was directly responsible for a goal in all but on of the games he played in...either through turnovers, blown coverage, or dumb *** penalties. milbury kept hammering meszaros and saying bart needed to be in there. i disagreed then and i obviously still disagree. that kid killed us in our half of the ice against the habs.

and then there's our offense...bleh. i'm done

go ducks/kings
