[Bad Religion]

During the second round of the Eastern Conference playoffs between the Boston Bruins and the Montreal Canadiens, the mayors of both cities made a bet. The bet was the losing team's mayor would have to raise the opposing team's flag at their City Hall.

Thanks to For The Win, we have gotten our hands on the photo of Boston's City Hall. Only one problem, the flag which was used, was quite possibly the smallest Habs flag on the face of the planet.

Ill admit it and will fess up, i was heated af from the loss when i typed that bum comment, but really both teams are pretty evenly matched. I was foolish to think this series would be a cakewalk. You guys have to realize how frustrating that loss was to digest as a Hawks fan


Kings won a game that definitely was against the odds and ill give them props for that. Game 3 should be really competitive.

i think the kings will win this series in maybe 6, game 1 the kings were exhausted and it showed in the 3rd, 2nd and 3rd period last night looked like the kings.

Also, us hockey fans come up with the worst nicknames for players. I saw "Cartsy" on the last page..... lol

Really glad the Kings stole a game in Chi. I think the Hawks will take one back in LA as well. I'd be surprised if it doesn't go 7.

Yeah the Hawks really put themselves a bad predicament by losing that game. They basically have to dig themselves out of this hole. They MUST at least split the games in LA to have a chance.

But just like the Kings, the Hawks respond really well after a big loss. The Kings came into the UC with something to prove and it showed last night. But let's not forget how many deadly weapons the Hawks have.

Eh, Canadians do the same thing. TSN nicknames 98% of players and every one of it's analysts using a form of their last name with either "sy" or "er" on the end. Its obnoxious.

the kings need to take these next 2 and try and get some control of the series.    it's going to be tough as hell.    granted i think this is a better kings team then last year, and perhaps chicago is suffering some of the same fatigue the kings did around this time last year.   winning the cup and then making another deep run is pretty grueling no matter what team it is.  

im just happy they finally got to crawford though.  for whatever reason he tends to look like hasek in his prime when he goes against the kings smh

they call him cartsy, like his team calls him that. But I agree

Hockey players have the worst/most simple nicknames. Just take your last name and add -y or -ie at the end

Easily the most impressive thing about that gibbons goal was that he went offsides and then stick handled across the blue line to stay in sides and with all the opposing players waiting across the river didn't manage to put a body on him or stick in puck while he's trying to stay on sides lmfaoo
