That was a sick game. Kings had the Rangers on their heels once OT started it seemed. I mean, the pressure they had Lundqvist under was crazy.
 
Never really been in here before didn't know there was so many hockey fans on NT. Rangers deserved to lose this game and the series. Pp in the first OT and second OT and they didn't take advantage of it. Kings looked like they just wanted it more. There was a sequence there when the rangers couldn't get it past there blue line there in the first OT for like 3 mins straight. Just straight hustle from the kings beating them to every puck.
 
Oh god people on Twitter are already starting to call the Kings a Dynasty and the Blackhawks a fluke.

In my eyes, both teams can be considered dynasties in the making. The Kings had something to prove this year that they wont allow themselves to constantly get pushed around by the Blackhawks and they definitely proved that. The Blackhawks got lazy this year and took their solid team for granted by overlooking obvious weak points. Next year Coach Q needs to play players like Morin more, worthless players like Versteeg needs to go, and they need to add more size to their roster. And learn how to take advantage of the Power Play. The Power Play is their biggest weak point. If they can do these things, theyll definitely have more Cups in their future

Anyone saying that about Chicago clearly doesn't know anything about hockey. Just ignore them and don't let it get to you.
 
Congrats to The Kings and their fans. You guys were the finishers all playoff season. Well deserved.

And can I be for a moment just say it again but if it had to be any king player.... I'm so ******* happy it was... SCORE THE STANLEY CUP MARTINNEEEZZZZ!!! :pimp: :pimp: :pimp:

That was a hell of a game. Lundqvist is an absolute beast out there, but the Kings just kept scrapping and scrapping.
 
Hell of a game, hell of a series all things considered.

Sad to see it end like that :frown: . Rangers had a real sluggish 1st half of the season... and to finish up strong and them some. Great season to be proud of for the Blueshirts.

Nah i wont let it, the fact that the Kings overcame three game 7s and three OT games in the Finals shows me that this team was special this year. I fully expect a Kings vs. Blackhawks rematch in the WCF next year.
 
Quick and Hank delivered all series long, which was what I was banking on/truly hoping for :pimp: .

Congrats to all the Kings fans on here. You guys definitely deserved this one. IMO they went through the next best 3 teams in the league to get there.

Please no more trades with Columbus though. :frown:

All three took the Champs to 7.

The only other team I would have in the conversation is Boston. That's the clear top 5 for me.
