Congrats to the Kings and their fans.

This. Rangers really played their hearts out and it showed. The disappointment when Martinez buried that rebound last night was overwhelming. Tough when you put so much into this. Henrik pretty much summed up the fanbase's emotions sprawled out head down there. He is a beast.

LGR!!!! Cannot wait for next season already.

Have a feeling I'm not gonna see the Rangers play for a chance at the cup in a very long time. **** really sucks. The Kings were the better team but those ridiculous calls at home all but sealed the Stanley Cup for them.

Pretty crazy to look back and think this team was 1 loss away from being swept out of the 1st round. Then win 3 game 7s on the road.

Don't think we'll ever see a run like this in any sport.

GKG!!

After watching the goal for the 34th time since last night, your boy knew what he was doing with that shot off the right pad. Gonna be a big time player in LA for years :pimp:

Remember that call/prediction. Congrats to all Kings fans, to come back from the depths of death against San Jose and showing repeated fortitude in do-or-die Game 7's.

What an amazing series.

This finals > NBA finals.

Hell this playoffs > nba playoffs.
Why didn't you want a New York championship?

As a Jersey guy who working in NYC, I wouldn't mind it for my co-workers and friends.

Honestly, it's NHL playoffs > NBA playoffs every year.
I'm tempted to say and believe the Stanley Cup Playoffs trump even the NFL Playoffs and BCS bowl games. Maybe not March Madness though.

All I know is I don't want to see Brad Richards on this team next yr. Baffled they kept him around this yr, no way can they keep him going forward

Richards will most likely be too expensive to keep. I give that dude credit though. After being benched last year to being a key part of the team this year, the dude could have been a lazy piece and just collected checks. Clearly a shell of his former self but that happens with almost every player in every sport. Sucks that he did not have a good final but the same could be said for other players too. His experience will be missed.

Where has HKid or whatever been?

Dude said about 2 yrs ago toffoli was gunna beast

Just saw this.. Super happy for Toffy.. This team is going to be good for a long time even if Quick goes because Joner the backup is unreal too. :smokin

We havnt slept.....

Funny story: Doughty asked his girl to marry him in front of everyone... 15mins later, he tells her hes kidding

Congrats to all the Kings fans on here :pimp: well deserved Cup.

Rangers have nothing to be ashamed up, they put up a big fight and lost 3 OT games when a lot of people didn't think they were in the same boat as the Kings.

Multiple pages back saw the Oilers mentioned, I care about Edmonton. Love their young core moving forward. Eberle, Nurse, Yakupov, Perron, Hall, Gagner, RNH. Finally have a capable goalie in Scrivens, stood on his head a few starts for the Oilers.

The puck was deflected off the rangers after the shot... Do you really think he thought ::Shot the puck off the guys stick, deflect it to the right pad, rebound directly to teammate, goal::?  That is some MJ & Larry Bird McDonalds style commercial if he really had all that planned out.

Upon further review it looked like there was a slight deflection, but yeah it's definitely possible...there's been stories/reports done lately on how they purposely aim for pads so the trailer can bury a rebound

Man I'm still hyped off of last night.

winning the stanley cup twice in 3 seasons after only making it past the 2nd round once prior to that.

Its been a fun past few seasons as a kings fan.

Who's going to the parade Monday? I wish I had a way to get into that rally in staples after the parade.

This was the most stressful post season I have ever experienced. I honestly couldn't handle a game 6 or 7. So glad we finished it out.

But, with how this postseason was going, it only made sense that the Kings would make it as heart attack-inducing as it could be. The screams of joy and adulation were greater than they were in 2012. So much fun to win the cup on an OT goal. What a ride.

GKG.

A little let down that King Henrik didn't get to hoist the cup, but happy that Brian Boyle didn't put his greasy hands on it as well....it's a catch 22. Oh well.
