One loss became two and now we're at three. Mike Yeo was grasping last night in the press conference... sounded more and more concerned with every word.

In the three-game losing streak, he's pointed out Erik Haula looked tired and "doesn't know why", scoffed at Parise and Suter saying they need to practice the power play more in practice, said last night there was "tension in their game, that they were too lively", he's asked the media why their questions after a shootout loss were geared in a way like they had lost outright (which I understand).

The hottest team in the NHL is suddenly fighting for its playoff life, and Mike Yeo is well-aware I believe where this could head if they don't notch a win sometime soon. Last night (2-0 loss to the Jets in St. Paul) was their first loss by more than a goal since Jan. 19.

That's amazing really, not to have lost by more than a goal in three and a half months. I'm not concerned about their playoff inclusion but they'll earn it with the three remaining games on the schedule:

Today @ CHI
Thursday @ NSH
Saturday @ STL

the one saving grace is that Pitt didn't give Ottawa a ROW win...helps with tie breakers for Boston and Detroit
