Are the Oilers slowly building another dynasty? All the young talent they'll have is gonna remind me of the Blackhawks from a couple of years ago. Glad that Macdavid won't be cursed to Toronto
McDavid isn't going to fix that joke of a team. They don't have a goalie and maybe one top 4 d-man.

I would love McDavid to pull a Lindros and force a trade but I doubt that will happen. But WTF!!!!! again with the Oilers getting rewarded with the 1st pick overall smh....

McDavid had the Leafs and Sabres as his top two preferred picks.
Maybe playing under Gretzky's shadow, being far away from home, and incompetent management were thoughts of his going through his mind.
Oilers fans deserve this, their management does not.
That being said, McDavid coming home party in four years

NHL is trying to build the 80's Oilers Dynasty again but like I said before I really hope he would pull a Eric Lindros and just tell Oilers I'm not playing here and force a trade because if that was to happen Oilers would get back a Kings Ransom.... We all know that won't happen so for now 4th overall isn't so bad especially if we get Strome or Marner in my opinion

Agree we should be seeing more top 5 picks in the next couple yearsThey're all elite prospects which we sorely lack. I think we can look forward to at least another 2 top five picks......That ******* sucks
