Agreed, Konecny at 24 is a very good pick. And Provorov is gonna be a really good defensemen as well

Another under-sized, skilled forward? PERFECT. Add that to the 8 we have on Utica. Dont worry about depth at D at all.

Luckily for Bob Murray Sweeney managed to have an even worse Draft Day. This idiot just traded our second best goal scoring winger for a 2nd and 3rd.

Dougie Hamilton traded for WAY LESS than he's worth. he's the franchise blue liner and we kicked him to the curb. according to pretty much all the analysts and sources, we not only traded him for less than his worth...but we didn't even let most of the league know we were shopping him. bad bad bad all around.
Milan Lucic...this one is debateable. he was my favorite guy and a guy they gave up on after a down year. a year where his most compatible linemate for the last three or four years missed half the season. a year where he played with two rookies. a year where the entire team had a down year save for bergeron. not to mention, you gave up a guy who is just a unique combination of power and skill. whether or not you think his skill sucks or is gone, this was dumb. and it's even dumber given how they used the pick they received. NOT TO MENTION, WE'RE STILL TAKING HALF HIS ******* CAP HIT. so i don't want to be fed ******** about salary dumping.
tonights picks...the pick at #13 is fine. #14 is acceptable. but the guy at #15?!?! what the ****, man. sweeney probably threw his back out reaching on that pick. mathew barzal on the board and they passed him three times. konecny on the board still. merkley still on the board. i'm livid thinking about it.
it really is unfathomable how bad sweeney ****** my franchise today. and i keep hearing, oh he's building for the future. right...he's ensuring we pick in the top 5 for the next 3 or 4 god damn seasons. that's how he's building for the future. the very distant future.

This is sorta like Schneider and Luongo right guys? With Talbot and Lundqvist? So NY should get a first back or a top prospect? Maybe Jack Campbell if Stars.
Its okay DSA, Phil Kessel RFA deal is coming full circle, you guys got like what 6 prospects and Loui Eriksson?
Don't worry Dougie will also flourish in CGY.
