SOOOOOO much young talent in Edmonton. If Boudreau gets canned, I'd love to see him go up there.

This was my first time watching McDavid as a pro. He's on a completely different level than any other rookie I've seen in about 10 years or so. His vision and instincts are flat out amazing. There's no doubt in my mind that he should be top-3 in scoring within 3 seasons.

That being said....KUZNETSOV. 5 points, bruh. Looking like a young Datsyuk w/ his puck control.

Markov had himself a Kuznetsov like night with 5 points as well . Everyone got on the board with 7 players having multi point games.

I expected the squad to be good but not this good to start ,gonna be tough to keep this pace up but I'm glad they're stacking up the points early in case the injury bug hits/cold streak hits later in the season.

it's important to start hot, get into a solid playoff position by thanksgiving-ish time. you can have a december/jan lull, and then crank it back up. i think there's a stat that 85% of the teams in playoff contention by thanksgiving end up finishing in a playoff spot. boston was out last year at turkey day and was literally the last team out last year

It's half Getzlaf sucking *** like a typical Game 6/7 and half on Murray's idiotic self for 1. Being unable to draft any skilled forwards. 2. Robbing the roster of goal scoring constantly. We've essentially lost 4 20 goal scorers the past 2 offseasons (Bonino,Perreault,Palmieri,Beleskey). Beauch to Bieksa is a downgrade too. Boudreau has coached his last game, but this isn't his fault, and I'll guarantee he wins a Cup before Baldy does as a Captain.
