Simmer is an animal. Hes jus decided **** it.... im gunna score goals and give people these hands. Man if he was on the Pens id like our chances as much as Washington.... and tbh if Malkin doesnt come back soon I could see the flyers riding Ghost and Voracek into our wildcard spot.
Pens miss the playoffs and ill roll the wheelbarrow of TNT into the lockerroom myself.

Simmonds reminds me of Shane Doan, to an extent. Easily my favorite non-Cap in the league.
It's amazing as to how good of a player he's become over the years. Probably the lightest power forward in the league, but man...he brings it.

Nah no one is ever catching wayne. The goalies were sooo bad and he was sooo good. Just wasnt fair. Id be curious to see just how good hed be in this generation. 150 pts per maybe. Like hed have the season Kane is having every year

It's obviously way too early but I've never seen someone start their careers being this good this fast. Not even Sid or Ovi. In all seriousness,the great ones records are most likely unbreakable but it doesn't mean no one can get close. Especially if he enjoys a nice and long career

It was passive aggressive. If you actually disagreed you would have made some points. Which you didn't.

I'll preface this by saying I haven't watched a ton of Flyer games, so maybe I just have been unlucky in the ones I watch. He is very good, would love to have him on my team, and what you want in a captain and what I'd like to see are most likely different.
To me, he is a player who plays on the edge of aggressive that can dip into counter-productive more often than I'd like to see. I understand his style of play demands it and that that breed of power-forward is currently lacking compared to previous eras. However it doesn't mean he can't play that style without being a distraction, costing his team in key situations, or pick his spots better.
He isn't Marchand in terms of being dirty, but in the same way Bradley is a great player, I wouldn't want him captaining my team because he tends to be erratic.
Ideally, to me, a captain is a voice of reason in high-stress situations. Obviously among many other things; but I feel that quality is lacking. At least in the games I have seen. Maybe my sample size is skewed.
