Flyers fans have to be some of the worst in the league. Not all...but many of those in attendance were a bunch of classless morons. Way to honor Snider. He'd be proud. SMH.

First one was hilarious...I also really have no issues with that or the girl flicking off Orpik (when he was on the bench and healthy).
It's the other stuff...mainly booing when guys are hurt and throwing **** on the ice, that's deplorable.

What other city boos unconscious players off the ice, screams profanities during a moment of silence for their deceased owner, and celebrates when the garbage they throw on the ice ends up causing another penalty for their team? I've never seen that anywhere.
And I've never had a problem in the city. Like I said, it's the fans. I've witnessed Philly fans act like garbage at baseball, football and hockey games. It might happen in every city, but not to the extent that it happens in Philadelphia.

When else can you remember DURING hockey game where a player (Simmonds) is pleading with the fans to cut the ****?
Last night was a total embarrassment for that fan base. Saying it's a "select" bunch of idiots is really minimizing what was actually going on.
Sure, you can say it's a select bunch of morons when folks are screaming "**** Ovechkin," or "**** the Caps" during the moment of silence for Snider, but the boos for injured players and throwing **** on the ice? Nah...that's more than just a select few of people.
*FTR, I LOVE the city...one of my favorites on the East Coast....but last night was a debacle.

No kidding it was an embrassment and the majority of fans think that but one idiot throws the band and it causes a trickle down effect
It's also magnified in Philly because most fans are die hards and not transplants who show up when the going gets good or a bunch of Laker, Yankee, Cowboys fans saying the city sucks

One can be a diehard and not act like a mindless buffoon at sporting events. Philly fans seem to have most trouble drawing the line between the two.
