This reminds me of the time I was working at a job I really liked and was going to have to quit for school, I confided in my coworker and that !*&%^@!&^@ told our boss who then cut all of my hours for the next month.
I was sick because I was going to give them MORE than enough notice about me leaving too

That's crazy...I was actually in this exact situation last week.
Manager gave me a heads up that my coworker was getting fired and asked not to say anything.
I didn't tell him but he was fired by the end of the day.
Not much he could've done about it.

You wanna be a good friend/coworker/whatever but if you let word out before the actual firing, youre likely to get yourself in some trouble.

As far as the situation goes we have been coworkers for a couple of years in my honest opinion they are finding a bull reason because her sales performance is weak

In the professional world you have to let some of your morals go. Meaning a friend maybe about to get fired, but it isnt professional of you or your place to say anything to them. It goes against morals in being a good person, but in the cooperate america being a nice person will get you eaten alive.

I have come to know a FEW folks who I would tell without thinking twice if something like that were to go down,but for the most part i'd keep my mouth shut.
