***OFFICIAL FILA THREAD***

Suede I'll say is a 7 out of 10.
Appreciate the info, my pair ended up getting backordered, which kinda baffles me, because it was a random size that popped back up after they sold out, why list it on the site if the stock wasnt available? They offered me a free gift and asked my shirt size for the inconvenience, but never responded back to my email asking whats the eta on the back order

The "Lemar & Dauley" Cages definitely didn't sell-out on FILA.com. They were pulled in order to give the impression of a successful release. After looking at the statistics of the page, there was an instance where most-to-all sizes were readily available to suddenly being switched to the page being removed. These weren't that limited when comparing them to the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle x FILA -"Shredder" Cages, which were (personally) a better release...

The "Lemar & Dauley" collaboration wasn't bad, but it wasn't all that great either. It was an easy pass for me...
The shoe sold out. Nothing was pulled. The pairs were limited.... There will be no restock of these. So if we pulled the pairs where did they go? L&D sold out and FILA.com sold out... We are not pulling any smoke and mirrors trick over here.

I gotta admit as a fan of fila, I'm not impressed by quality control lately. What's been going on with it? Pictures to come when I have time

I can't speak on behalf of Lemar & Dauley's website. However, I monitored the FILA.com page with this collaboration & there definitely was an abrupt transition of pairs available to being completely taken off the site. I did the same with the Shredder release to see how well they would sell & I could actively see pairs no longer being available in a gradual manner. As you appear to have some affiliation with FILA, what were the exact numbers of this specific collaboration? Did the TMNT FX-100s & TMNT Cages sell-out instantly with no restock as well? At the end of the day, the demand for this particular collaboration simply wasn't there & the majority of posts in this thread confirm that. Perhaps on a smaller scale, one could call it a success...

I do have a direct affiliation with FILA. Not sure how you monitored the page as you have no access to our back end. If you watched the front end of the page you would see pairs going at an easy rate. I am not here to talk numbers of pairs. In terms of the demand? This collaboration sold out, within the day. So the demand for it may not be on this thread, however we sold it out... So consumers appreciated it and purchased it. Simple as that. Please come prepared with more than "one could call it a success...." The blog hype was there, the demand was there, the limited edition status was there. Not sure what point we are missing here?

If this is what you're "bringing to the table" as an "ambassador" of FILA then I'm not surprised as to why the brand itself is plateauing (again) if this is what they have at their forefront. Sad part is, I'm a fan of the brand...

In regards to monitoring the page, it's not that hard. FILA.com is run on MarkMonitor servers...

I'm trying to understand what you are getting at? Are you not happy with the collaboration or the amount allocated or the distribution? In terms of "bringing to the table" I meant some factual analytics, as you do not have any access to our backend.... I work directly for FILA... Please be clear, the shoes went up on our site and they were bought and the sizes came down during the purchases. It simply sold out, I'm still not understanding what you're point is?

It appears your confusion is due to your own negligence. I'm not expressing my dismay for the product nor am I unhappy with the allocation/distribution. May I suggest reading my initial post as I was referencing a rather simple process that could be deduced for the most simple of laymen. So are you or are you not confirming FILA.com is run on MarkMontior servers? Might want to stick to initial references instead of diverting the issue elsewhere...

Ohh, FILA. So silly...

Sniper,

Okay, lets stick to your initial post stated the collaboration definitely didn't sell out. BUT It did!! What are you trying to stir up... MarkMonitor does not run our platform or have any connection with our ecommerce. I'm not going to partake in childish conversation over something you know nothing about. To put into your "deduced" terms for the "most simple of laymen".....Nothing was pulled end of story!!!

I'm going to stick to only answering questions for individuals who value having someone from the brand present in the forum. For those looking to make false/empty accusations and shots, sorry I no longer have time for that. Thank you to everyone for the support thus far - This year particularly. We are entering an exciting time for the brand!

Shoes are dope in person, suede is top notch. Glad I was able to cop. Might we know how many pairs were released?

skep says the quality is basura and you come in here with 1 post and say the quality is 'top notch'. Is your benchmark Nike/JB 'suede'?

First time poster, long time lurker. Never really have time to participate on these kinds of things. Stop buying Nikes because of the quality issue. Sold the remaining amount of Nikes I owned last year. I stand firm on my opinion. Been collecting for too long for anyone to tell me better.

Sniper, just to play devil's advocate but is it possible that a single reseller purchased all their pairs? Does FILA.com have restrictions on how many units can be purchased by one individual?
It's very possible that a reseller could have purchased them all at once. However, I don't think a legitimate reseller would do so as the profit margins would be minimal to possibly even a loss. Just looking at the current & only listing on eBay denotes the lack of interest. The Buy-It-Now price went from $300 to $200 within a few days & it appears to be stagnant at a starting bid of $140. Once you account for eBay/PayPal fees + Shipping & Handling, I think the seller would break even. In regards to FILA.com's restrictions, they have limited purchase quantity for a few releases before, but not all...

I hear you brother, but this 'sneaker game' has attracted all kinds of idiots. Some 'new jack' reseller thought he/she could make a come up on these after striking out on the daily Nike/JB 'limited' release and purchased the whole lot.

Well anything is better than Nike/JB these days so the benchmark is quite low. That said why 'lurk' for 14 years then come out of the woodwork to praise an obscure Fila joint? Are you the cat who purchased the FSR on Fila.com?

Quality is definitely not trash, I already said 7 out of 10 however that is my opinion lol.

Saw that a Fila rep was in the thread and decided to ask questions about the release. I'm not on here all the time but, if it's a release I need more in depth info about, I hit up NT. Use to be up in the library in high school looking at Jays and what not on this forum. I would suggest that you cats stop dropping links and giving list on where particular releases are dropping though, keep all that private. That's how I was able to cop the Yeezy 1s and so many other releases. Sneaker reselling is at a all time high, do as much as you can to keep the community tight.
Lastly, suede is top notch not the greatest ever, but top.

don't get me wrong, the material is beautiful. i love the suede. the problem is quality control. the last pair (motor city) has excess overspray of the red all over the blue and white. the dolphins colored overpass i got has a big spot on the white toe box area. my pairs prior have problems as well, but not as noticeable. i honestly wish they'd get it together cuz i'd love to continue buying their product, but can't do so if this continues.

Yes we monitor every order that comes through. Since it is a limited edition we watched these orders even more. There are many factors that go into our fraudulent policy, something like that would have drawn a red flag with that dedicated individual.
