I dunno fellas, it's possible but these GH3's have a distinct look that might prove popular and cross over to today's youth. I'd cop at the 60 mark but I might pick them up before that since they have such nostalgic value for me.

My modest 96 collection. Picked up a 2nd pair of Red Suede, Hampton's, Rising Sum and Pewter's on the sale. Saw they're lower so Im gonna see if Sears can do an adjustment on a couple since I bought at $39.99. Now, they're $24.99.
And I hope those Marketplace stores drop the prices on the other 96's. I need those Double
G's.
BTW, I tried to buy a pair of Red Suede from online for a friend and got the OOS email today (ordered yesterday). Bummer!

That is odd. I guess their system is slow to recognize their stock count.
Does anyone know if the Fila 96 model originally came with round laces or the stock oval laces they've been released with? I'm thinking of swaping them out.

The ogs were round laces. Flowed much better with the lace loops than the oval

Tried buying a pair of the red 96 on sears and they asked for my debit pin number then rejected my order and then i look on my online account and they charged me for the shoes anyways with no history of an order whatsoever. Stupid *** sears

Got my Suns yesterday, should be getting my 2nd Reds tomorrow, but the Hamptons, despite having a tracking number for 4-5 days now, haven't moved. Shows on the order they're due to me on Jan 7th, despite being ordered the same day as the Suns. Backorder perhaps? Sears has obviously got some issues with their website. If the price on these weren't so good, I might get upset! lol

Online with Sears right now - apparently they tried to deliver but reckon the address is wrong. Checked the notification email they sent me - the address on that is perfect. So hopefully I can get this sorted asap.

I had to re-do my order because something got screwed up with the delivery address. Hoping I don't get hit twice too. The customer service person told me the initial purchase would be reimbursed, so it's fingers crossed (for the $25!).

Anyhow, I did a lace swap and they definitely look better than the oval lace. On top of that, the stock laces aren't the same length for either colorway!
I did it to these too! may as well.
K-Mart is selling these? (click on pic to enlarge) Says I can pick up a pair of these and the navy/white colorway.

Ah I see, makes sense then. Still odd to see K-Mart as a pick up spot.
Actually, they're pretty solid in person but I know a few long summer wears will change that. Can't go wrong for $20 though.
