***OFFICIAL FILA THREAD***

One of Filas rare hidden gems the FILA Interloop Mid. Just Wow, if FILA was to retro this model i'll cop it for sure. In my opinion to what's outhere this shoe has proven that it could stand the test of time. We're in 2015 and I still like it cause the design is so mean and timeless.
 
fila doesnt seem to have brought back much heritage other than the signature models and a few tennis models. would like to see more.

I don't know about this particular model my man - with all the straps and rugged outsole it looks like some BDSM type shoe.

I'm all for bringing back stuff other than the same old rehashes but if the somewhat popular stuff is getting discounted heavy I just can't see the obscure stuff doing well at all.

If I was FILA i'll make this particular model real limited. Trust me I know about fashion and the FILA Interloop Mid has something. Just look at the crazy and outthere looking stuff they be putting out, examples the adidas from Jeremy Scott and the Reebok ATV 19. Now I'm not a fan of these shoes but other people seem to like them. So why wouldn't someone like the FILA Interloop Mid the shoe to me personally looks like some high end fashion shoes, something you'll see in a Men's Runway Fashion Show in Paris, England or Tokyo. Plus on top of that I think it will spark some interest amongst those real new sneakerheads who genuinely love this cause I seen in youtube some kids who never bought Filas but until they put out a certain colorway on one of their stuff from the 90s that attracted them and made them buy some FILA kicks.

I hear where you're coming from but unfortunately the masses see fila as a joke and don't invest in them. It costs a lot of money to bring a classic mold back..I don't see a pair like that selling well overall. I do think the bubbles pair would, along with the pair that had the bubbles over the laces (no one remembers the name). I'd buy both of those myself.

I say that the masses are a bunch of idiots who don't know jack about the sneaker game if they was really smart they would know about Fila's rich history in the sneaker world etc. and would respect them. Better let's concentrate on the people who love FILA like us and the few real new sneakerheads who go out of their way to rock a different brand other than Nike and Jordan cause they're not followers and can appreciate a hot shoe when they see one from another brand like FILA. I'll cop me the FILA Bubbles if they was to come out again, the other pair you mentioned I'm not a fan of those but that was the good thing about FILA in the 90s etc. they had something for everyone.

Truth and when I rock FILAS I always here, "yo I didn't know that Grant hills were still coming out." Or "Where did you get those?"
That alone shows that Fila made a history mark on the sneaker world.
 
As long as they continue to provide quality products, I'll continue to buy.

The issue with consumers is, a majority of the buyers today are kids, and fila holds meaning to those of us who are 30+. They fell off for so long, they couldn't hold a name to the public mass. Kids don't know who Grant Hill, Jerry Stackhouse, or even Fila is. Our generation will continue to be their primary customers, until something big happens. And I don't think they plan to invest in signing another star athlete.

If you guys havent seen yet sears has the kj7 in alot of colors for 29

Not fila 96 comfortable but comfortable none the less. Go a half to full size up though

Not to mention the awesome full grain leather on the KJ7, straight old school stile.

I hope if they retro the mashburn they treat it like the fila 96 and only make a tiny change thats not noticeable
 
Seriously considering getting the "Blackout" 97s. A couple questions: Did those of you that have them all ready successfully go "TTS?" And is there any codes to get them cheaper than $87? Appreciate you guys.
