Damn my size 11 is sold out. Good looks tho Skep. Those double G's I've been wanting to cop for a while. Just been waiting for a steal.

TheShoeWizard hit the nail on the head through the wall! This applies for other brands like Reebok. You can't expect the brand to buy new moldings for production of other OG silhouettes when the OGs released are selling under $60. The moldings are upwards of a $100k from what I heard.
 
I remember how kiddfuture said that the Mashburn's were going to look exactly the same as the OG's from the 90s did. But I seen in Fila's instagram this pic of Soulja Boy in Fila's booth at the agenda show in Las Vegas and you could clearly see the Mashburns behind him and the midsole doesn't look like the midsole from the OG pairs from the 90s, in their description it says that's their SS2015 and FW2015 lines. I guess those of us who wanted the Mashburns to come back out again and looking like we traveled back in time cause everything looks identical that you cant tell the difference would have to settle for these new 2015 Mashburns with the changes done to the midsole smh.
 
If there is considerable change to an old school classic i wont buy it. I see alot of you settle for butchered retros. Not me.

And i dont care what brand it is. If you are gonna butcher a classic you might as well not bring it out again

14 years ago it use to be that seeing a jumpman on the back of a jordan retro was the only design change you had to worry about

And thats nike. But if your going to change the entire design or alter it thats a no go.

Reebok is probably the best at retroing their products right now and thats kind of mind boggling considering they are owned by adidas who cant seem to retro their own damn shoes correctly

Very disappointing.
 
Looks like they've gone ahead and reversed the mid-sole colourblocking. I'm certain at this stage, it's a cost cutting move based on the fact that their shoes have to be blown out.
 
If the Mashburn comes out and has those changes on the midsole. I'll still buy it cause it doesn't look horrrible at all. I give it a 9 The OG version from the 90s is a 10. Now if FILA would of made some really noticeable changes on the Mashburns that would of been a NO on that. 2 Prime Examples are like how Nike in 2012 butchered the Nike Air Diamond Fury and Reebok in 2012 butchered the Reebok Blast. If something like that would of happen I would of been like hell nooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo!

What's your opinion on the Reebok Blast?
 
Unfortunately all the basketball ones, and the ones that I really cared about were butchered.
