why are the lebron viii's south beach's SO OVER PRICED?

YEA ITS A HOT SHOE BUT PEOPLE ARE RIDICULOUSITH THERE PRICES SET AT $1,000...THE JORDAN XI ARE A WAAAAYYYY BETTER SHOE AND PEOPLE ARE ASKING OVER $400 FOR O.G'S...REGGARDLESS OF THE LIMITED AMOUNT OF THE SOUTH BEACHES THEY ARENT WORTH $1,000...IJS...WHAT YALL THINK?

The quality are far greater than any XI's IMHO. Like the XI's they brought something different to the sneaker community.

& obviously the hype!

Wale wore them, but he's always been a Lebron rocker

Then Ross wore them in the T.I. "Pledge Allegiance To The Swag" video and it was uphill from there

Also the history behind him (the biggest player since Jordan switching teams)

And it's just a very unique, bright colorway

The same reason why Aqua 8s are more popular than other Jordan 8s

Quality may give it a $50 dollar boost at best. Yet on normal products without hype, they would rather pay $20 dollars less for sub par materials? Quality is the LEAST of what is driving this price.

I'm actually negotiating on another pair... I'm willing to only do 700$ but dude is thinking about it too long. 

call me dumb or say its stupid to pay that amount.... but when you got the funds, why not...

If you have the funds why not? I had second thoughts paying $600 for the black and pink yezzy's but when you have cash, why not?

I find it crazy how people treat the Lebrons like goddamn J's nowadays or just other niceass Nike retros.  Personally, I think the South Beach's are straight up ugly...  Who wears turquoise and pink on a basketball shoe?  lol...

I think the demand is higher than supply....these weren't really that limited, I was still able to cop another pair 3 weeks later at retail, a buddy of mine said a store in philly was actually trying to move em because they sat for a while. More people are just keeping their pairs so there's not a lot of it floating around. Also, some peeps are buying it at $1000+...its hard to argue against resellers when there are actual people that offer that high
