Did you forget about a man by the name of Ray Lewis?

And Urlacher hasn't exactly been lighting things up this year... he's finally starting to come around with that int return for TD, but I watched himmiss about 4 tackles in a row in the same game.

Oh so you see Urlacher have a ball fall right into his hands lumber into the endzone so you think he's the best LB? Urlacher HAS been the best LB butthis year, you could definitely make an argument that Willis has played better than all other LBs.

that doesn't mean he's the best LB in the league, just means he had the best season. Willie Parker is having a great season and is second in rushing, does that mean he's the second best back in the league now?

this is just like DeMeco Ryans leading the league in tackles last year. people were hyping him up then, but this season i haven't heard any of that "best LB in the league" talk. we're hearing this Patrick Willis talk now, but it will take a couple of years before anyone can call him the best LB in the league.

Ray Lewis has struggled with injuries and still managed to put up a Pro Bowl season. until Ray retires or just completely starts to suck, the title that he has held for 8+ years remains with him.

And I never said he is the best LB in the league, I just said that you could make an argument that he is. You're right though I'm hyping him up alittle early but being that I watch every game and have been exposed to his greatness more than most others, I feel that he really is something special and theonly thing stopping him from playing at a pro bowl level for the next many years is injuries. With the way our teams have struggled, I haven't gotten tosee Ray Lewis play much at all except for on the monday night a few weeks ago but I know dude is more than a beast and it's the same with the Niners. Idoubt many people have seen him play more than when the Niners were playing their team so it's hard for them to see the impact he has on the game.
 
I'm just glad we got a great #1 pick last year, especially since the pats get the one we worked so hard for this year

On the other hand, If Nolan continues to be the 9ers we are a Tony Sirgusa and Ed Reed away from becoming the west coast version of the Baltimore Ravens. Wealready have the offense down.

Patrick Willis is having a helluva season. I don't want to steal his thunder, but what about my man David Harris?

One of the few highlights of the Jets this season.

115 Tackles, 2 Forced Fumbles, 4.0 Sacks [ <-- From Yahoo Sports]

David Harris is having a great season, but isn't getting the recognition because of the record of his team. Not taking anything away from Willis, buthe's on a playoff team, and is getting recognized more.

playoff team? Niners are one of the worst teams in the league. Willis gets recognition because he plays in front of one of the biggest fanbases in the country. but living on the east coast, i'll tell you that most casual fans don't hear about him at all. i've only seen the Niners on TV once, when they were playing the Ravens on CBS. chances are the average fan around here that didn't watch that game doesn't even know who he is.

Both games i've been to this year I can't not watch 52 on defense. He is sick. No doubt will be one of the greats in the league.


But I can't hate a lot of good young LB's are in the league right now.

Since you obviously didn't read my first post I said "will be the best LB in theL soon", NOT all time. Lawrence Taylor is obviously NOT in the L. Which is why I thought he meant LaDanian. I figured he misread and thought Imeant best player in the league. So you sir get the

When I make a post about the best player in the league RIGHT NOW and someone says LT, I'm not going to think of Lawerence Taylor because he's notnot the league right now dummy. smh...
