I was playing 2k8 and I saw teams for each decade, so I thought about it and here is my lineup. I know almost most of these people are getting up there inmileage and age but when I think of the 00' era, these are who I think of. I originally posted AI as a starter but yeah I thought about it, KB should bestarter. AI from 01 thought Idk that would be a tough decision. Dude was a killer

Overall

PG-Jason Kidd
SG-KB8/24
SF- KG
PF- Tim Duncan
C-Mr. O'neal (He was the +@!! for the first half of the decade)

Reserves
Allen Iverson
Steve Nash
Dirk Nowitzki
LBJ
T-Mac
Matrix
Ben Wallace
Ray Allen
Paul Pierce
Yao Ming

Honorable Mention:
DH12
Sheed (Late 90's to early 00's..damn)
Elton Brand
Agent Zero
VC
B.Diddy
D-Wade
Melo
Amare

i won't flame you unless you give me everyone a legitimate explanation on why you put AI over KB.

I don't know if Dwight would make the reserves...he wasn't that great until this year. And not having Kobe on that list is a traveshamockery

I would put Rasheed in that list over Dwight and Matrix,
and give me a legit reason why KB24 is not a starter

dont get me wrong a.i beasted in the earLy 2000s...he was the 2001 MVP before he was knocked out by my Lakers in the finaLs but he reaLLy hasnt doneanything big after 2003...so i'd put kobe over him not because im a Laker fan and yes sheed over dwight in the reserves...hes onLy been beast this year

Yeah I know I must've overlooked some people and I just put DH12 because I didn't know who else to put. Sheed was def beasty late 90's and early00's though, and I was thinking about putting Ben Wallace as a reserve. As for the KB24 ordeal I know this would be the reaction and yeah I thought aboutit after I posted, maybe he should be the starter. I was just looking at Iverson's stats and damn he averaged 30+ppg 5 times over the course of thisdecade, I know he didnt' have another scorer and he played in a weaker division, yada yada.

VC? maybe the all decade injury team

Well no one else is posting their team, so I'll post mine.

First Team:
1- Kidd
2- Iverson
3- Garnett
4- Duncan
5- Shaq

(just like the thread starter)

Second Team:
1- Nash
2- McGrady or Kobe
3- LeBron
4- Brand
5- Shaq again (his domination at the 5 early in this decade has disqualified all other centers from being a 1st or 2nd Teamer)

Third Team:
1- Chauncey
2- Pierce
3- Vince
4- Dirk
5- Amare

I really want Melo on my 2nd or 3rd Teams, but I can't find a place for him.

Dead Last Team:
1- Smush Parker
2- Ricky Davis
3- Samaki Walker
4- Olowokandi or Kwame Brown
5- Slava Medvedenko

You buggin, individually he had a better season in 2005 then he did in 2001. I could see reasons for putting A.I. over Kobe or vice versa.

LOL at the dead last but here I'll break it down 2k8 style 00 east vs west...and I'm not alone when I put AI over KB...to me its either or but aftersome deliberation Kobe edges AI,as I have edited my post above. And here to

1. AI/Nash

I wanted to put him in my list, but I think Duncan, Rasheed, and Dirk > C-Webb

You know who never gets talked about,
Andre Miller

He's not going to make it into any all decade team or hell, even an all star team, but

the Andre Miller argument is solid, but the thing is he's completely offensively inept. and I think his spg is misleading.
