Official Lloyd "King Of Hearts" Album

Bought the album off the strength of "Cupid" and "Lay It Down". I've been addicted to those two joints and expected something special.
1. Intro f/ The Game (This is just foolish, doesn't fit the flow and I have no idea why it's even on here. Ruins the vibe of the album, was instantly deleted from my iTunes)

2. Dedication to my Ex (Not really a fan of the Raphael Saadiq sounding beat, not a fan of how vulgar the song is and Wayne mumbling and saying ******ed stuff in the background is the dumbest idea)

3. Cupid (finally an R&B joint they've been talking about. Beat, lyrics, vocals....this is what I want to hear and only what I want to hear)

4. Love Me Girl (beat is addictive, catchy hook and everyone's vocals were money)

5. Naked (Nice slow ballad, relaxing and sensual. Vocals are solid)

6. Jigsaw (Another solid R&B song, captivating beat and lyrics are nice)

7. Bang!!! (More of that Rap BS that doesn't fit the flow at all, hard beat but should be on rapper's album. Horrible, fake Nicki Minaj is awful)

8. Be the One (Catchy beat and hook, straight for the radio. Sounds just like the mess that Trey Songz has been doing recently)

9. Shake it for Daddy (Club/female record to dance to, not a fan)

10. Lay It Down (one of my favorite R&B singles in the past few years)

11. Angel (Solid ballad, peaceful beat and voice sounds strong again)

12. This is For My Baby (solid track, smooth vibe to this beat)

13. You II (Not sure how I feel about this track yet, not a fan of sequels to smash songs but this one is kinda smooth)

14. World Cry (Inspirational track, some good stuff being said. Not really into that positivity mess myself though)

15. Stay (this song should have easily replaced one of those foolish rap tracks on the standard edition. Sounds like a song from Street Love)

16. Never Window Shoppin' (an R&B mixtape track)

17. King of Hearts (should have made the standard edition as well)

18. Let's Get It In (also should have made the standard. Sample, beat, hook is nice. Feel good record)

Overall, I think it's behind "Street Love" but ahead of the rest of his albums. A lot of strong records, but those few awful joints really bring down the sound of the album. Very disappointed that those few songs made the album after Lloyd and Polow were talking about making a classic album and bringing R&B back. You can't bring R&B back with a horrible intro from Game, bootleg Nicki Minaj, Wayne having orgasms in the back and Tity Boi on your album. Solid album though, it was worth the wait.

Yeah listened to this album yesterday. I only like three tracks and two of them are Cupid and Lay It Down....album is pretty damn bad. It is all over the place and filled with horrible song/hook writing. Absolutely no replay value.

Seems like I'm missing out on the full feel of the album.

I just listened to these and I agree that those tracks should have made the standard in favor of losing a bunch of those crappy tracks that made it in.
