Yea I buy his shoes, but only because they're expensive and some girls attribute it to having money spending $150 on some shoes and most girls want a guy with money. So thats why I buy some of these retros that come out. Then after some wears I cut the grass in them. They become beaters. Life goes on.

You know the problem with all these people is that they worship false idols. Michael Jordan is a man, not God. The public is rude and does not respect his space. That story about some kid trying to get MJ's autograph on some dirty shoes was terrible. I would have thrown those shoes in his face. No manners. Jordan doesn't owe anyone anything so people should stop acting like he does. And if you don't like the man, there are many other choices of kicks and apparel to buy. No one is forcing anyone to buy Jordans or Nikes.
People put MJ on a pedestal. Women throw themselves at him and men wish the could ride his pole. "Power corrupts, absolute power corrupts absolutely." He's probably a jerk because everything comes so easily for him now. Who cares. I don't care to ever meet MJ. I buy his shoes because I appreciate the basketball memories of my youth, the lessons that I learned from his determination, and because I like them. Those values are distinctly mine and taken a life of their own. I don't worship him and people who do are just stupid and bound to be let down.
