They coulda still been homies though. NWA was friends but Eazy was more business savy so he made sure he got his large piece while everybody else was getting scraps.

BTW, all of the major acts today are on 360s. ALL of them.

The entire big 3 (Sony, Universal, Warner) changed their entire buisness models to 360s a decade ago.

What am I popping off about and what facts do I need?

I spoke on Future's insinuation (THAT HE TWEETED  FOR EVERYONE TO SEE) that filing a lawsuit over owed money is "snitching". I didn't speak once on the lawsuit...it's validity, or Rocko's claim.

I actually don't even think this is the issue. There's 100's of people out here who invest a lot of paper in these artist up front that never see that Fetti again. So just like any other investment in this world, you have to scale your investment vs. risk vs. return in some capacity... Which is why as it stands with nothing concrete really out there at the moment, I don't see either dude as the "bad guy" or like Rocko was "trying to get over" on him early on. Considering nobody could've really forecasted Future turning into the artist he is today.

I said ONE OF THE PROBLEMS. And what I said still stands. Applying "street" logic to the corporate world is ******ed. I'm not back peddling ****.  You acting like I just wrote a ******* term paper on the subject.

It's hard to iron out details when Epic is involved but fam put out three (4) albums this sounds like somethin that couldve got worked out before the second

I really want to know how much Rocko invested in Future and FBG with his OWN money. If he invested a **** ton of money then it might just be warranted. He gotta recoup with interest on top...thats business

this . i know we here cause we all love future , but i vividly remember rocko bringing future to a bunch of his own radio interviews and introducing future before i had a clue who future was but then later seeing him in a maceo video around the time racks was taking off . even in the sway video , maybe rocko didn't bring him in the office but you were there with him

rico had future in a group and he admitted himself , he wasn't the right fit for future . this is all assumption , but this could be how rocko stepped in . and la reid being at epic would make sense based on the fact that he had rico and df also when he was at la face . he kinda finessed rico and them early on some pebbles _ "we making the crowd move but we not making no cheese and thats a no no"

hate seeing guys that came in together fall out . whether we know what it is or not , don't tarnish the story we grew to love . one of my favorite songs from both of them , chosen one , won't even sound the same no more . i remember on gift of gab rocko saying "future trust me with his career , thats something i cherish dear" and thinking how dope it was that they were rocking out like that . . .

Dude had to kno and was cool with it/letting it happen. It would be different if Future was struggling but if dude was "legally" obligated from the jump to pay and is getting more successful by the year why cant you take action for yo gwap immediately.
Mind you fam is getting exec production credit on these albums so Epic is cutting him a check too.
With Epic also involved it's not as simple as yo you owe me money pay up. The deal is five years old so I could see how Rock could have lost out at 10 mill but ya I doubt he gettin that too

If I was Rock and he legally owed me money I would get my gwap on the first advance and reassure buddy that it's business and the money is nothing compared to what he's bout to do in the Future

Too early to judge this situation. We don't know what really went down between them. Maybe Rocko did try and handle the business privately first but Future wasn't having it so he went to court. Either way if Rocko's lawsuit has merit and that's what's on Future's contract then he gotta pay Rocko's dues.

Everyone saying a contract is a contract doesn't even know the language used in the deal. Might've left the door open for Future to get around it. Don't blame Future at all - 25% for 6 albums while not doing anything
