Catching up on this thread…Everything said about him performing a few pages back is factual.


I remember seeing him in April at a small venue (Aragon) for the PR tour and thinking this N___ is an amazing performer. But it was really the crowd carrying him.
Then saw him at a big festival (Lolla) and the energy was drained, crowd was wack, and his average performing was evident.

All about those smaller venues for Fuutch.

I was having a debate with a friend a few weeks ago. He feels like Drake has benefitted more from having Future around, I feel its the other way around. I went the Drake tour and my question is do you guys feel like Future could nationwide arena tour? I can't see him selling out American Airlines Arena let alone The Garden.

Man enough of that. Future is not about to sell out arenas. Drake does that because he is a pop star. Name some dudes in the rap lane that sell out arenas.

Both of them have benefitted. Drake got more people in the urban markets believing that's he's a stand up guy, and Future has more pop white kids believing they can fathom life in the hood because they know the words to Trap ******.

All of the people that came out to S16 weren't Drake fans, nor were they all Future fans. Simple as that.

I feel like Future is at that awkward stage where he's too big for the smaller/medium sized venues but not big enough to sell out arenas by himself.

Future's live show isn't built for a solo arena tour.

Somebody like Chance The Rapper will have an arena tour before him just because his live show is more dynamic.


It's interesting though because when you look at all the #'s he's done, the amount of hits, the social media following, it definitely seems like he should be already there.

If you look at any other artist on that level, they're doing it.


My selfish wish is to see him in an intimate venue but at the same time I wanna see him flourish at the highest level.

This year will be telling, he can go a couple of different directions in his career depending on what he sees for himself.
