thats the thing about dex . he was a thoro detroit guy , but he didnt have the stereotypical detroit sound and look which is exactly what we needed for the real city guys to have a shot at mainstream exposure  . dex sound was relatable to more than just detroit or oakland . that 9/11 preview wit meek sounded CRAZY

that clip of him speaking on his death is definitely erie , but u just knew dex was involved with a wild lifestyle and thats the reality of the consequences that come with it
