Identify these shoes - No idea @%+ they are...

the shoe with the orange max unit is inner bootie of the GP III. the white part is just the outer skin that could be changed out. i actually bought a pair of the black GP IIIs and bought the navy jkidd skin with the white toe and a white GP III skin and i used to change them out all the time. they were the exact same shoes with different skins.
 
I had the black Pippens, and always wanted the white MORF skins.
Those joints were heavy as a BRICK. Remember buying three MORF skins off of Eastbay when they were on sale for 3 for like $20 bucks.

I still to this day have not run across a shoe that oozed quality as much as these shoes.

The materials, the build quality, everything.

BY FAR the best built and highest quality shoe I have ever had the privilege to own.

I actually had one set of skins for indoor ball and one for outdoor.

White/Black indoor and Grey/Crimson replacement skins for outdoor.

A really great way to not mess up you indoor shoes on the black top while not having to buy 2 actual pairs of shoes. 

Provides consistency for your feet too.

It was a brilliant concept for its time... hotswapping outer skins to extend the life of the inner bootie. I'm hoping some designer at Nike loves it as much as some NTers do enough to resurrect it or a new version using flywire technology, throw in some Foamposite material, Zoom insoles, bring back the monkeypaw, etc.

But... probably not. Build quality being what it is with Nike now... style over substance.

i still remember this guy in high school walking around without the skin, just walked around with the bootie around school thinking he was doing it. I remember seeing the soles and all this dust and crap was attached to it.....smh

I had those in all black...They dropped right around the time the wht/rd Shox BB4's dropped....dope shoe
